Sunday, May 15 is the 30th annual Peace Officers Memorial Service. Law enforcement from all over the country gathered in Washington for National Police Week to honor fallen comrades-in-arms. Too bad President Obama couldnt be there. Despite being invited to speak to the widows, children and friends of the 165 officers recognized this year as killed in the line of duty, he somehow didnt think it was important to trek the two miles from the White House to the Capitol Building to participate. Perhaps its because Mr. Obama historically has had a conflicted relationship with law enforcement.

I’d like to know who is paying for all these people to travel to Washington for a remembrance event. I hope it isn’t the taxpayers.
I only posted that because I happened to see it on the news last night. I don’t believe Obama is any friend of law enforcement. It was a photo op, as usual. What’s in it for him?
The union police officers really don’t seem interested in how much they’re dissed by the Democrats. They keep voting them in and throwing up opposition to anyone opposing them.
Obama doesn’t want to show up because there is probably a warrant out on his ass.
He has his own national defense force, stronger and more equiped than our military... remember?
