Don’t know about the best of all time, but I had a surprise pop up on Pandora today that I thoroughly enjoyed. I’d never heard it in all these years.
It was “Trouble” by Cat Stevens. Written in 1969, released in 1970. Apparently, it was on the soundtrack for “Harold & Maude” but I don’t recall hearing it, and I would have remembered it.

I saw Queen in concert, and during Bohemian Rhapsody, when it got to the heavily overdubbed section of the song...they played a tape.>>>>>>>
I saw Led Zepplin twice and they sounded pretty thin on their tunes that used overdubbing. Some tunes they pulled off and others ....not so much. It got boring. They were too stuck up to take an extra guy out for tours. A guy who could play guitar, bass and keyboards

Own one? I have two. I am a car junkie. Wagons especially. I wouldn’t let a bunch of drunken wedding party people any where near my cars. In ‘96 I used my ‘69 Caddy ragtop in one of my Fraternity buddies weddings and the bride threw up in the back seat. We were really f’ed up that day.
We have a radio station out here that plays nothing but classic rock...mostly late 60s, early 70s. The very best era for music I’ve ever heard. Even my 80s daughter loves those folks mentioned in your post, and has expressed a sorry that her own generation didn’t have such great music.
Personally, I think there’s some great music from the 80s. I love Foreigner...especially the lead vocalist. He has a vocal range that is amazing!
I’m a dancer...born, bred and raised. Even though I’m of a certain age, I have an ipod touch and an ihome, and have it full of classic rock music, as well as the classics. They are all on my ipad, as well.

The very best and most sultry song to dance to...BTO’s Mississippi Queen! Though, I’ve not heard an arrangement or an artist who hasn’t done that song justice.

Another one onto favorites! What a remarkable duet. Besides the great audio, it looks to have been filmed in HD.
Another you’d likely enjoy took place during Rod stewart’s 2004 concert at Royal Albert Hall. The week previous he came across a girl singing for coins on the streets of Edinburgh - scooped her up and put her on the stage doing a duet with him - “I Don’t Want To Talk About It”. The girl’s name was Amy Belle. Good voice, no training apparent, and obviously nervous at the beginning. She did pretty well with her first solo section, looking scared, but the audience responded favorably to her and she flashed them one of those “realization” grins - a genuine big, beautiful, “holy s**t, OMG, look at where I am” grin that makes the viewer beam right along with her. Another “magic moment” during a performance was when Josh Groban sang the National Anthem at a Packers-Lions game, and those football players had tears in their eyes.
Something that’s a lot of fun is playing the you tube video of the Bellagio Hotel fountains’ ballet to Bocelli’s and Sarah Brightman’s duet of “Time To Say Goodbye” - and watching people’s facial expressions when they realize that for the last third of the duet, the orchestral accompaniment is Ravel’s Bolero. No wonder it so mesmerizes the crowds!
