Oklahoma: FReeper trussell's daughter Crystal has some urgent medical care needs that sound like a blood issue from the discriptions. She does not qualify for Sooner health care.

Your information or knowledge of where she can take her for medical care is needed. FREEP MAIL trussell if you have the knowledge of the information she can use.

You who live in Oklahoma, you know your health system, CAN you provide the information she needs?

FREEP MAIL trussell

She would also appreciate your prayers for her daughter Crystal.

You and I always push St Jude don’t we Gail. My son was treated there before he died. They were so good and never charged a penny. We had no insurance.

I hope you find the right care.

If the child’s symtomps are getting worse, she should be taken to the emergency and figure out how to pay for it later, or what options exist. You don’t want to risk the child’s life.

I am not in Oklahoma, but a quick search showed:

http://www.varietycare.org/

WELCOME TO VARIETY CARE, a comprehensive, family-focused community health center that offers primary medical, dental, vision, pediatric, WIC and behavioral health care to any Oklahoman. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances, and UNINSURED patients access services along a sliding-fee scale based on family income.”

Might be worth a try, if she is stable and you don’t think it’s really an emergency, but she needs to be examined and tests done to diagnose her.

I think the most important thing is to get her medical care ASAP.

Need to address to trussell, it is her daughter that is sick. If you’ve never dealt a lot with the med system, you have no clue where to start.

You ever try to get into a doc’s office or hospital with NO money? No ins? Only if you are an illegal.

You are right the local children’s hospital should have a social rep with lots of info at her fingertips. There are also Mayor’s hot lines.

You might find this link helpful:

I also know of some OU medical facilities around NE 10th and Lincoln that will try to test and diagnose unusual health issues for free. They have OU medical research in this area and it’s beneficial to them to get hard cases to diagnose.

I think you can find someone to help you there:

I’m a retired physician. No more excuses, I told her (sorry I sent it to you by mistake) how to get the funds for her child’s care.

If the social service reps don’t do it, the accounting office will—the hospital gets the patient’s money back as payment for providing medical care.

She could call her local hospital and ask who in the area provides care on a sliding scale. I used such a practice after an ER visit last year. We are still paying for the ER.

What about the Federal “CHIP” program — gov insurance for children:

https://www.cms.gov/home/chip.asp

“Originally created in 1997, CHIP is Title XXI of the Social Security Act and is a state and federal partnership that targets uninsured children and pregnant women in families with incomes too high to qualify for most state Medicaid programs, but often too low to afford private coverage. Within Federal guidelines, each State determines the design of its individual CHIP program, including eligibility parameters, benefit packages, payment levels for coverage, and administrative procedures.

Families who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid may be able to qualify for CHIP.

Families that do not currently have health insurance are likely to be eligible, even if you are working. The states have different eligibility rules, but in most states, uninsured children under the age of 19, whose families earn up to $44,100 a year (for a family of four) are eligible.”

Well, payment is secondary to life. If you are looking for free work by doctors St. Jude may be the way to go.

Urgent care here, you have to pay $350 just to walk to the back to talk to the doc and settle the rest of the bill before you can leave.

Does anyone associated know a doctor, sometimes they will provide a side service as long as they know they won’t be culpable for that service.

The nurse prayed over her and said she “received” that my daughter was under attack from the occult, possibly for something she did to open the door to such an attack.

I'd yank her out of there right then and there.

Find some medical staff that don't live in crazy town.

Homestead state is Minnesota so I keep that flag. I need to update my profile page, it’s been a while since we were in Colorado.

Bruising was noticed more than a week ago. They seem to be fading not very fast, but not lasting forever.
