So-called conservatives have been just as complicit in this. Bill Bennett was the main pusher of the War on Drugs and made Zero Tolerance a household word.
I completely agree with you.
The last LE I’m semi-believing is the BP — because the media and foreign-occupied government is 100% against them and for the illegal alien invaders.
The illegals throw rocks/boulders that can kill, and the BP isn’t allowed to fire back. The BP gets gunned down by drug cartels and no one cares. Or, the BP is allowed to use rubber bullets.
(I’m not saying they’re faultless, just that I might still believe them, whereas I no longer believe or trust most of the rest of them.)
Not to mention asset forfeiture and unending repeat searches of the "crime" scene until the drugs "overlooked" in the first four searches are "found".
Yeah but so will your house! However a 174gr armor piercing round will penetrate just about any vest someone could wear and still walk.:-)
they found no contraband at all.
Isn’t that where that BART shooting happened a few years ago?
No, I've never seen an admission by LE that they blew it. The closest I recall was when police in NY admitted they blew away somebody in a dim doorway when they mistook his wallet (which he was taking out to show) as a gun. But they said it was an honest mistake.
A former Marine, MARRIED, and with a job. Sounds like a real threat to society and a likely drug dealer!
How about conspiracy to commit murder if it's found any officer or officer of the court falsified an affidavit?
That's why they don't admit their errors or negligence.
Absolutely. This was all in daytime. What’s wrong with one plain clothes cop with a utility worker’s vest, hard hat and clipboard knocking on the door?
“Hello, ma’am. Sorry to bother you, but we’re doing some work on the utilities. Is your husband home? Can we talk to him? Thanks. We’d appreciate it.”
But that’s no fun. Much more fun to dress up in military gear and break down a door, shoot the dog, or one of the home occupants. Much more satisfaction.
Besides, who will EVER successfully charge a cop with anything. All the buddies all the way up the line to the local courts will protect every one on the force.
I don't think anyone is looking for an admission of guilt.
I think there's a lot of folks that would like to see a thorough and open investigation to determine if:
1. The Affiant(s) were being truthful and can back up their claims made to obtain the warrant, and
2. Whether any of the officers involved had a history of complaints about false evidence or have been found to have given false evidence in the past.
3. If the deceased pointed or fired his weapon.
If the right combination of the above exists, I would certainly support indictment for First Degree Murder and Conspiracy for the select few involved.
At the very least, they all should face First Degree Murder for denying medical care for over an hour, literally until their victim died.
Then they came really ill-prepared if they had nothing to frame the guy with.
I’m not one to advocate decriminalization of marijuana, but if it would eliminate incidents like this, I’m all for it. Otherwise the only choice we have is all-out war with the feds and/or law enforcement. There are far more of us (armed) than them.
It is a sad day in America when it has come to this.
Well here’s an idea. Maybe they should start teaching morals in SF? Ten commandments?
Nah, thats just crazy talk.
That is a good gun.
Yes, the notorious one (of several) occurred at the Fruitvale (Oakland) station on New Years day early AM.
Cop said he mistook his Glock for a taser. Really outstanding training on the part of the entire department, ... ;^). Ya would need a truckload of popcorn to watch that to the end, and be under 40.
Your point is valid.
Historically, conservative values, and Constitutional law enforcement, compliment one another in providing what the government is allowed and personal responsibility.
