It probably isn’t due to the weight, but the insurance.
She recently announced her intention to cancel her insurance and go on medicaid.
Yeah cause only Americans on food stamps are fat!!!
so it’s actually obese patients... not simply overweight patients...
Good thing I am not pregnant...
But my cardiologist loves what I am doing to make myself better!!!
People are not going to recognize me in a few months...hehehe
unreal....
How about only letting the fat people buy fruits and vegetables and lean cuts of meat? Make them weigh in each month before adding money to their EBT cards. Make them wear a pedometer to make sure they are getting the required exercise prescribed by the government. Don’t give fat people social security checks because they are obviously a drain on our economy. The sooner they die, the better. And make those living in Section 8 housing take a weekly drug test. If they fail, kick them out on the street immediately. If it is someone’s child, have police patrol the home to make sure the child does not come back into the house.
Oh yeah, and make GE pay taxes.
Fixed it.
Won’t this cut out a lot of sub-saharan-african-american patients? I haven’t seen a pregnant black female that didn’t look at least 250.
It’s the weight that causes the complications that motivate the lawsuits that drive the insurance rates.
Yep - I believe that OB’s and Anesthesiologists have very high malpractice rates.
Ah yes...”THE CAID” as my healthcare professional wife calls it.
She had a patient the other day who informed her that he couldn’t pay for his heart medication. He just received 4 stints.
She noticed on his chart that he was previously on a nicotine patch. He told her, “there’s no way I’m quitting smoking, I enjoy it far too much.”
We are not only paying for his medication but also for his cigs.
Isn’t America great?!
Right on, friend!
This isn't exactly a Death Panel, but the concept is the same. "Sorry, Ma'am, given your situation, the regulations say that I cannot give you medical care."
Hold on. It will get worse.
How about just ending welfare? For everyone.
I don't consider SS to be welfare, because of the (false) promises made by the government to the (involuntary) participants in the scheme.
There are always veterinarians........
