Whatever. I’m tired of people acting like professional basketball is important. Perhaps it does add to the sales of silly clothes, jewelry and tatoos. Beyond that, the salutary effects head toward zero in a hurry.

This is a non-issue, but it is being used divisively. In the mind of the gay activist, it would not be enough for a closeted homosexual to come out privately to his/her teammates. No, that person has a responsibility to come out publicly to everyone.

If a homosexual teammate becomes a problem, it has to be dealt with. If a professional athlete wants to come out but feels intimidated by doing so....well, too bad. Stay in the closet. Everyone has a choice.
