Read other articles I have posted. IMF officials have diplomatic immunity for official acts. Whether that applies can only be decided in court. There is disagreement about it.

His lawyers are probably waiting for court to use it. Or, they are putting pressure on the State Dept. to sneak him out in the dark of night.
