Makes you wonder why the US Coast Guard would invite this idiot.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ted Kennedy weren’t available.
How many victory laps do you think he will take by mentioning his *courageous decision*?
Is this address being televised? If so, I’ll have to arrange to watch paint drying instead.
I think the Coast Guard Academy recently embraced affirmative action. It was the last service academy to do so.
For me this is worst than an adverse weather advisory. I have to pass the Coast Guard Academy each way to my place of work. I bet right around the time I am leaving for work, is when all traffic in New London will be stopped by the Secret Service.

“final commencement address?” I think it’s his only commencement address this year.
....just once I’d like to see the silent protest.......where people stand with their backs to the speaker.
Of course, it won’t happen, but the loons would go absolutely ape ****.
Those poor bastards. I bet Hussein invited himself.
I’m sure he invited himself after failing to mention the Coast Guard while in Afghanistan. Yes, the Coast Guard is here also, hazmat.
I guess he has to make amends.....
Semper Paratus! Indeed!
The unofficial motto is “You have to go out....you don’t have to come back”!!
Coast Guard....1970-1975.
there you go...AF1 out trolling for some square grouper
I suspect that Valerie Jarret told Janet Napolitano to arrange for it to happen. So, it happened.
I wonder what speech the teleprompter is cooking up for him...
President Bush addressed the Coast Guard in 2007
Anyone think the reception will be equally respectful?
I didn’t know he gave any yet... Funny how in the past years, his commencement addresses were big news. Now, they are a collective yawn to the media.
