So, I go to the website of Faith Shared, and there is a list of all the places where these "readings" will take place, and guess what. None of them are mosques. They are all Christian churches including the Washington Cathedral, for crying out loud. So, again, with Muzlims tolerance is a one-way street. Misled Christians hold Koran readings in their churches, but no one is reading from the Bible in a mosque. HOW STUPID DOES IT GET? List of churches here. See if yours is participating: http://www.faithshared.org/

I will be glad to read “The Satanic Verses” for all to hear.

Don’t see any of my Baptist brethren on this list. That’s a good thing.

The problem with this country is the Church. Whether is is Islam, homosexuality and other sexual immorality, traditional values and morality, whatever. If the Church ever gets itself in order, we would do just fine. Consider that millions of Christians voted for Obama. All to many Christians think that envy, jealousy and covetousness are just fine as long as they are expressed in a political context. My point is as long as the Church is a mess the country will be a mess.

Let’s see some mosques in Saudi Arabia do the same.

Agreed. Complete dhimmi idiots. They should be burning the Koran and pissing on it. Its time to stop capitulating to the Muslims.

The problem with this country isn’t the church, it’s the clergy.

Hey, why not?
I'd be glad to read Koranic verses to my congregation. I'd read to them about jizya, the stifling tax Christians who live under muzzie rule have to pay. I'd read to them about the rules for women and the wearing of the hajib. I'd read the the verses that tell of the encouragement to kill Christians and Jews. And lastly, I'd tell them the verses about shaquiyya, the doctrine of the Koran that states that they can LIE to anyone not of their faith, without consequence, in order to further Islam.
If the TRUE (evil, iron-fisted, bloody) face of Islam is exposed, perhaps the Koran SHOULD be read in churches to let people know what we're up against.

They ought to invite some Buddhist monks. The ones I’ve met are pretty cool.

Desperately needed due to all of the stories you see every day about women wearing the Hijab being randomly assaulted on American streets / SARC

I sent this to the email address listed on the FaithShared contacts page:
I'm very interested in the Faith Shared event. However, I'm curious as to obviously missing information on your website.
Please update the website and/or email me the complete list of participating houses of worship. Currently none of the participating mosques are listed.
No, I don't expect a reply or a change to the website.

They need to read from an un-whitewashed translation, like this one:
http://www.thestraightway.org/Quran.asp
Usama Dakdok is a Christian who grew up Muslim, and knows what the koran really says. He provided an accurate English translation so that any who want to really know what it says can read it.

Tad Stahnke, director of policy and programs for Human Rights First, said he hopes the initiative will draw attention to religious freedom and counter negative stereotypes of Christian leaders making anti-Muslim statements. What's this do-gooders plan to help the truly persecuted Christians in Egypt and Iraq and other Muslim majority nations? But I guess it's just too hard to address real persecution rather than this concocted Islamophobia nonsense.
