A jilted bride-to-be was dragged to safety after threatening to leap from a seventh-story window after her fiancé married another woman, Reuters reported.
Dressed in her wedding gown, a college student identified only as Miss Li climbed out on the window ledge of the building in Changchun city in northeast China.
According to local TV, the 22-year-old sobbed and swung her legs out the window for about an hour before police officers arrived.
Li said she could not live with the fact her fiancé had left her and married another woman just days before their wedding, local TV said.

But so much better off without that scumbag
She should have been more creative and followed them around on their honeymoon. No dramatic scenes, or screaming. Just being conveniently at the same locations whether on the beach, cafe’, grocery store....
I’m sure the bum’s not worth dying over.
She needs to find a nice American guy.
Looks like her former fiance made a wise decision at least in regards to this woman; who knows about the woman he actually married.
Rejection is protection.
Shouldn’t be to tough to find another. Aren’t there like 7 billion men for every girl in China...or something like that?
How truly sad. Some people never try to understand the fragility of the emotions of a woman... nor do they care.
Slightly off topic here,
Um, is there a species called ‘beta female’?
Maybe he’s better off without the nutcase.
It’s friggin’ CHINA, lady.
Those dumbasses have been killing of female children for DECADES.
China is now facing a serious shortage of women.
She can have her pick of the next batch that comes along.
So sorry for her. What a shock for her obviously, like a death. Totally stricken. Pray she lives, to gather her own strength and to invest first in her own life spirit independent of another. Athiesm is nothing if not deadly.
I doubt this guy is capable of attracting a mentally stable woman.. He going to have a miserable life with the fool he married.. How could she trust him? UnFreakin’Real!
no pics of the other woman? how can I do my analysis?
Who wants to bet that now that her pic has hit the press, she'll get hundreds of wedding proposals and offers of dates.
“....like the fist of an angry god.”
"Surf City" it isn't.
She’s beautiful but...sheesh, she’s NUTS. Guys are so strange...
The gender ratio in much of rural China is about 130 males for every 100 females. This is severely skewed due to their draconian one-child policy, enforced only until recently, combined with traditional Asian attitude towards male children. My cousin was lucky to find a wife in Shanghai since he’s hardly a prize.
The average ratio in the west is roughly 105 females to every 100 males.
Correct - beautiful but she got "the crazie."
Whoever marries her will have to explain to his kids "these are pics of mommy before we met."
The groom made a wise decision.
Seriously. Because there are attractive women who are not prone to do seriously crazy things. I would always worry that some other emotional turmoil would cause her to go off the deep end and do something else desperate. It seems that life with her would be a roller coaster and not in a fun way. I would certainly not want her raising my children.
I believe the ratio at birth in the West is 105 males for every 100 females and the populations do not even out until after age 55 due to higher male mortality, barring wars. Woman generally cope with single status better than men, so the rates are further exacerbated by females being more selective in their choice of mates, especially about status, stability, health and income, but less selective about age or looks. Men generally want younger women, women are more flexible. Women in the market for a husband have more choices, in general, than men.
Not guilty. Hell, come and marry me cutie. I like them Asian women.
She love you long time!
Thes Drama queen will still get a thousand wedding proposals. She’s reasonably attractive and there are millions more young men than women in China.
