PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE is owned by Peter Lewis: Who is he? Read this...
Youve seen and smiled at the Progressive Insurance TV commercials with the cute, but slightly ditsy brunette dressed in white. Well, youre about to learn the rest of the story:
PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE has great TV commericals, but waht you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of Obama, ACORN and other far-leftist causes in America .
Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage. Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org http://moveon.org/ and American Coming Together, two key propaganda and thuggery arms of the socialist far-left in America.
His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine!
Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a socialist movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system. They are also targeting television shows on Fox News and their conservative hosts.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) but he wants to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is, so STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends.

Progressive. The name should have been a tip off.
I always found those commercials irritating, and now I have more reason.
What do you expect from a bunch of Progressives ?
Ya beat me!
He's given millions to the Violence Policy Ctr & other anti-gun organizations for years.
Here in B.C. a Crown Corporation (i.e. government agency) has the monopoly on auto insurance. Just like government health care — there is no private sector alternative.
Wouldn’t it be ironic (a notable schadenfreude moment) if the “progressives” that Progressive donates to instituted government auto insurance?
I wonder how many “conservatives” will cancel their insurance. Probably not many.
PRO-GAY TV ad for Progressive:
I can’t stand “Flo”.
You and I, my friend, have very different definitions of "cute." From the first commercial I thought she was a failed attempt by Madison Avenue to come up with an edgy and memorable characature, trying too hard to be funny and coming off as predictable and annoying.
I did several months ago on my motorcycles and found an alternative (Dairyland) which was about 30% less expensive.
But...but...but...he’s not evil like the Koch family.
I don’t buy their crappy, over priced insurance. And they will give you the shaft if you ever file a claim. I have heard that from several of their victims.
Old News about Progressive.
Just another bunch of ignorant Communists who are content to make billions off the very capitalist system they are attempting to destroy.
The very definition of jaw-dropping idiocy.
Can’t stand that insufferable, homely woman in their ads, either.
Don't forget TV commercials are pitched to an audience that thinks Obama is cool.
If anyone wants an insurance company that will defend you in a lawsuit if you have to defend yourself in your home, you can pm me.
Most companies offer no coverage at all. A few will but will only defend you IF you are determined by a judge or jury to be innocent and then you get sued later by the criminal or their family. The initial case and costs (at least 40-50 grand) falls on you. This company, will decide for itself based on what you tell them and the police reports/evidence and if they believe you acted in self defense, will defend you in court. If they believe there’s no case and you did act in self defense, they will fight because there’s no reason for them to pay out any money to the criminal you injured or killed in self defense.
Why would a home insurance company do this? Because of your homeowners’ liability clauses. They go after your insurance company for compensation.
‘Bout time somebody outed those RATs.
|What? You born under a rock?|
If you want off my ping list get over it!
But enough about progressive (their name says it all, don't it!!??).
Hows about somebody on FR doing the research to identify those insurance companies that are solidly or even leaning to the right?
Check out Phoenix U ...
I am not kidding about this, looking at her in almost ever ad was a big reason we got rid of our cable service.
Never trust anything with ‘progressive’ or ‘fair’ in the name! :)
I wouldn’t go anywhere near any company that calls itself “progressive.” Instant turn-off for me, and always has been ever since I’ve known the history of the term.
Can you imagine going to your boss and saying, "Hey, I found a way to donate money to a group that will kill 1.5 million possible customers each and every year! Can I have a raise?"
So, whenever I see pancake makeupped, pasty, red lipsticked Flo on the commercials, I turn the channel instantly.
I'm ashamed of the Cleveland Indians for letting this company give its name to their stadium: Progressive Field.
“Here in B.C...”
You must have Icy Beecy. I’ve heard stories.
thanks for the info....
Please don’t tell me Progresso soup is commie. Otherwise, I have coupons I have to throw out.
LOL! I dunno. Progresso is an Italian word, and they’re pretty commie over there as far as I know.
I’m glad my mother’s parents got out of there and came here to have their 14 children.
I like Progresso soup though. Probably won’t stop buying it.
Can I have some of your coupons?
If they re-emerge as Left-Wing Communist Totalitarian Dictatorship Insurance, dont buy any.
Coupons wouldn’t pay for the postage.
I did. Went to Geico. It wasn't so much their liberal policies that caused me to move (several years before I knew they were big lib donators), it was the bull-dyke bitch of an agent who tried to screw me that did it.
Does not read well. Edit mode on: It was the bull-dyke bitch of an agent who tried to screw me out of my own money after an accident caused by an uninsured driver that did it.
You got that right.
I will never use them and will tell everyone I know!
“I wonder how many conservatives will cancel their insurance. Probably not many.”
I found out about this a while back and canceled my policy with them. I had my motorcycle insurance with them for a while. I moved it to the same company I used for my home and car insurance and now I am saving over $300 from what Progressive charged me. With them my yearly insurance was $600. After switching to a better company I only pay $300.
SO, this is one “conservative” who did it. Progressive and Flo can kiss my fuzzy butt.
Those of you who are cutting personal costs down, becoming more self-sufficient, and therefore, have no payments to make on vehicles, use an insurance broker to get the lowest cost liability insurance. Pay no attention to which company is chosen for the time being by the broker, as that will change fairly often.
Most, if not all insurance companies lean to the left. Some of the oldest ones were funneling money to pro-divorce feminist organizations during the ‘90s.
I was originally insured with State Farm since 1965 when I was 14. Last year I switched to an independent insurance broker for a third of what I was paying State Farm. State Farm called begging and crying but said they couldn’t touch the price I was getting from the independent.
Now, get this. My daughter and her husband switched TO State Farm from Geico and got practically the same rate I got from the independent.
State Farm was willing to give a good rate to a new customer but wasn’t willing to cut the rate for a customer of 46 years.
I have never been a Progressive customer, but my wife was sideswiped by one of them a year and a half ago. It didn’t help that my wife didn’t call the police to file a report, but Progressive found her partly at fault and refused to pay a dime.
Money talks. He has it, people listen.
I am a current State Farm customer, and I plan to shop my auto and rental policies when my current policies are up. The initial rate I got was good, but they have jacked up my insurance rates every time I renew.
Call it truth in advertising.
