I’ve always found their TV commercials annoying, particular that one lady. Of course I’ve long known about the organizations leftist tilt. Such a tilt is even self evident in their promoting of pet health insurance.(Perhaps an effort to put the pet healthcare industry in the same boat as the human healthcare industry.)

Anyone know how AAA leans?

There’s been much to admire regarding AAA.

She looks like what the people from my clubbing days in Chicago would call a poser. The music people said “poser” and the art people said “poseur” with a French accent. Which brings to mind a definition: PSUEDO-INTELLECTUAL: A person who uses the word pseudo-intellectual.

Yes, but they don’t have any funny TV spokesmen.

I did that, too, when looking at all of my insurance. Home and car were $2,400 with State Farm... been there for 20+ years.

Went to an independent... got policies underwritten by Metropolitan Life... same coverages/deductibles... $1,050... total.

It pays to shop your insurance around occasionally.

Likely true ones. In their latest move, they want to jack up rates for anyone getting even just one speeding ticket. (This in addition to the penalties they already charge, for losing ‘points’.) They might get overridden by their political bosses on that point. (An election is coming sometime soon.)

Never trust anything with ‘progressive’ or ‘fair’ in the name! :)

And Toyota’s “Moving Forward” is a clever combination of
“Move On” and “Progressive” to pander to the left. Nothing
against the company, I’d fleece every commie in the world
if I could too.

Add ‘forward’ to that list...a Vermont standard. ‘Take Vermont Forward’.

Part one was the best, but I can’t find that, with audio, anywhere.

Enjoy

I googled it awhile ago. I only watched a little of Part One because, like you said, it was missing the audio. Watched a little of Part Two. Where are you on the videos if you mind me asking?

Actually, at 5:42, of Part 2, I'm the one in the hat.

Really actually, see the last two stories on part 2, the Philadelphia Rabbi and Mara at WAZBC in NY.

Priceless

10-4, been with USAA since ‘66. USAA is a co-op and after payouts and reserve requirements are met each year, the excess is reimbursed to individual members. I have ALWAYS had outstanding service, very professional and very prompt!

"...Went to Geico..."

You may want to reconsider; GEICO is Government Employees Insurance Co.

Don't think I'd want to support SEIU/public sector unions.

Yeah, that was years ago. I'm on to AAA of New Mexico now. Best rates I've ever had, but I'm seriously looking at giving USAA my business, if they can come close to the rates I'm getting for AAA.

“I’m a very satisfied USAA insurance member since 1985. If you’ve ever served in the military they’re worth checking out. I believe they used to be open to officers only - but now they even offer insurance (among a host of other services)to family members of those in the military.

Plus, they’ve got the world’s best customer service.”

Thank You.

State Farm was willing to give a good rate to a new customer but wasn’t willing to cut the rate for a customer of 46 years.

I used State Farm from when I first started driving at 15 in 1984. I used them all the way until I was in my early 30s. My folks used them since they were married (in the mid-60s). I dropped State Farm after two consecutive rate hikes that had nothing to do with my driving record. The first hike was because the national level of theft rate of my type of auto had gone up (Honda Civic). I asked what the theft rate was at the local level. They said they couldn't use that.

Then the second rate hike was because the local uninsured driver accident rate went up. So, I asked them what the national rate was. They wouldn't use that. I then asked them why they seemed to pick and choose on the gouging, charging me for something at the national level which was actually very low at the local level, and vice-versa for the other issue. They wouldn't answer. That's when I went to Progressive, then to Geico, then to AAA. Possibly now headed for USAA.
