If senior journalist David Goldman is right, the correct word for describing the way a growing number of US Jews feel about President Barack Obama is not 'anger' but 'rage' – white-hot rage, at that, and a conviction that they have been swindled.
Goldman, Senior Editor of First Things magazine and 'Spengler' columnist for Asia Times Online, spoke last week at a convention on intellectuals and terror at Ariel University in Samaria. In his lecture, he quoted a top Jewish campaign donor who used the word 'sociopath' to describe Obama. In an interview with Israel National News, he predicted a possibly dramatic 'train wreck' for the Democrats in the November mid-term elections, with Jewish fundraising for Democrats drying up and a possibly high turnout of anti-Obama evangelical Christians.
INN: The recent McLaughlin group poll shows US Jewish support of Obama at about half its level in the 2008 election. Is this an accurate reflection of the mood among US Jews?

Personally, I don’t understand people, like your son’s employer. They don’t undertsnad to the degree that Israel, for all its imperfections, helps keep us safe.
Do they really think that, if Israel were destroyed, that the Arabs would rejoice and make peace?
The more likely answer is that, after rejoicing, the first thing that would happen is that the Arabs would find some other target and do it all again.
You don’t radicalize a population and then expect them to de-radicalize on command.
In fact, if you go back 100 years they only pass up the Democrat when a Socialist is on the ballot!
By-and-large evangelicals care more about Israel than they do.
Reagan was the last Republican to make a significant dent getting 39% of the Jewish vote against Carter. The gains eroded and were gone by '92 when Bush 41 lost to Clinton.

To me it’s quite simple. I don’t know a Jewish individual that isn’t a businessman. Usually independent. Usually the majority are in, at least, the earner group between the billionnaires and the middle class. In case you haven’t noticed, for all the talk of taxing the rich and corporations (which we all know is a bunch of bull) That group of businesses are being hardest hit by Obamajad’s tax plans and his job killing Death Panel Bill. The Jews are finally seeing past the ideology to their pocket books.

Accurately stated, however, beware of a group of a-hole purported conservative Jews on FR that will badger you endlessly for daring to speak the truth.
American Jews have supported the Democrat party over the GOP because the GOP is basically a Christian party.
Now that the Democrats are run by a muslim communist, Jewish support will wane.
Jews supported the Democrat party before they became the anti-Christian party.
I guess we should be happy they are at the party, albeit extremely late.
But why did a generally smart and savvy group of people fall for this film flam man in the first place?
