Figures. They just cant help it.
The leftists at Obamas Secret Service cant stand FOX News. They even tweeted about it.

I think this is B S.
They are public servants. Americans pay their wages. They need to learn to “deal with it”.
Reruns of Huckster ?
Depending on what time of day, I can’t stand the “blathering” on Fox either. Ditto ABC, NBC,CBS, CNN, et.al.
Just checked out their Tweets or whatever they're called for the last 10 days and I don't see it.
Undoubtedly they were stuck watching HANNITY or O’REILLY. I am really experiencing burn out with the format my very own self! Too much, too loud, too volitile and seldom informative but instead amplified hype.
Why would they have to “monitor” Fox? That’s creepy.
Some of Holder’s people, I take it?
and O’blabber never letting a guest finish a statement...
I catch Greta but usually cut the other two prime-timers off.
"An employee with access to the Secret Service's Twitter account, who mistakenly believed they were on their personal account, posted an unapproved and inappropriate tweet," read a statement from the U.S. Secret Service. "We apologize for this mistake, and the user no longer has access to our official account. Policies and practices which would have prevented this were not followed and will be reinforced for all account users."
And the apology... it’s a verified account, and is definitely official. According to the apology, someone accessed the official Twitter account, thinking it was their personal account. Oops. You’d think they’d notice the different screen background. Not observant enough to work with the Secret Service:
Like conservatives don’t think fox blathers on and on and on at times? Watch Hannity or that idiot Beck to see just how long one can blather about...nothing.
(I preferred Jerry Seinfeld’s version a lot more)
Good grief. I read the comments - almost like DU, but without the F’bombs.
The tweet was made via iPad, so I’m guessing a GLBT liaison working in the WH got hold of the official Secret Service Twitter account.
I have multiple twitter accounts and have accidently “cross-tweeted” a couple of times. I can buy the explanation.
” ME TOO!!!! and Oblabber never letting a guest finish a statement...
I catch Greta but usually cut the other two prime-timers off. “ ==========
Greta is cut to the chase. Her voice is shattering, and wakes the dog, but her show is informative and by today’s low standards is more respectful of both the audience and the guests.
Writing in Shatnerese is always the sign of an exceptionally sharp wit. Maybe this Secret Service employee should quit his job and hire himself out as a joke writer for Joe Biden.
What do you mean?
I can’t stand Ted Baxter-O’Reilly’s pompous bleating either - if that was the task maybe the Agent should get hazard pay.
What exactly is the reason for the Secret Service having a twitter account? What a waste.
“......the Agent should get hazard pay.”
That’s a scream! Funny! I give SS agents on the WH beat a LOT of room for grumbling considering their charge in the Oval.
Where else would they put their twits?
Don’t know what’s funnier, the tweet itself or listening to the local SF news stations breathlessly hyping the story as it’s 11PM lead.
If it had been a blackberry, it would probably have been Obongo himself.
If this is true, it does NOT reflect well on the SS.
May be I am looking at this all wrong. May be the threats against Obama have lessened to allow the SS time to watch TV and Twitter. Sheesh, it's so comforting knowing that the SS is depending on MSM for informatiom. Depressing if true.
” Why would the SS need to monitor FOX News.....” ======
Monitoring FOX is a staffers job, which gives credence to the story that something criss crossed but it was not the SS agents tweet. I’m not inclined to buy the agent tweeted.
Actually, I believe the President is a self-confessed technology illiterate: I have an iReggie, who has my books, my newspapers, my music all in one place.
“The Secret Service got back to a request for comment. Turns out, it was a mistake.
Their statement: An employee with access to the Secret Service's Twitter account, who mistakenly believed they were on their personal account, posted an unapproved and inappropriate tweet. The tweet contained no vulgarity, security or pertinent agency information. The tweet did not reflect the views of the U.S. Secret Service and it was immediately removed.
We apologize for this mistake, and the user no longer has access to our official account. Policies and practices which would have prevented this were not followed and will be reinforced for all account users. We will ensure existing policies are strictly adhered to in order to prevent this mistake from being repeated, and we are conducting appropriate internal follow-up.
Comforting that the SS can't keep gate crashers out of the WH or unauthorized employees off their Twitter Account.
Looks like the Secret Service could use a FEW GOOD MEN
“....troubling if the SS were asked to monitor Fox, or any news network for that matter.” ====
Yes, like having the landscaper posted at the White House gate of entry. Not a logical fit.
According to the agency, the tweet was "immediately removed" and an "internal follow-up" is underway.
Over two years in and it's still Amateur Hour at the WH.
Agreed—Greta does the best interviews in prime time. I like O’reilly for the entertainment factor, but could live without Hannity in the evening. Radio is enough.
I’m surprised the SS has time to monitor tweets since it is going after 7th graders who pose a threat to this nation.
I think the SS is out interviewing little 7th graders. Leave them alone, they have tweeting to do.
Since when are they allowed to twitter? Sounds fake to me.
Who knew you worked for the secret service. Very interesting!!!
“Obama’s Secret Service” gives it away. There is no such thing. Probably 98% the same staff that was there for Bush. This was a cross tweet or simply BS.
Then why is Faux News protecting the Fraudster.
Wouldn't be very secret if you knew...
