Latest performance data reveal number of English patients waiting more than 18 weeks has risen by 26% in last year.

New NHS performance data reveal that the number of people in England who are being forced to wait more than 18 weeks has risen by 26% in the last year, while the number who had to wait longer than six months has shot up by 43%.

...

The British Medical Association said the longer waits and fewer treatments were inevitable: "Given the massive financial pressures on the NHS, it was always likely that hospital activity would decrease and waiting times would increase," said a spokesperson.

"The capacity of hospitals has been limited by staffing freezes, and commissioners of care are under pressure to ration surgical procedures considered to be of low value. As well as the personal impact on individual patients, there is a potential long-term consequence for NHS hospitals, which are at risk of being financially destabilised as they lose income."

“The essence of a government health care system - for people who have never lived under it and don’t know - is waiting, waiting, waiting. You wait for everything. You wait for years for operations that are routine in America.”
Mark Steyn

Nonsense. This is just the medical profession trying to inflame public opinion so as to put the screws on the UK government. NHS spending has been “ring-fenced”, i.e. it is not subject to cuts. Spending on the NHS has been increased year on year since its inception. That has always been true. Some have increased it less than others, but no government dares to reduce it (one of the main reasons why we shouldn’t have a national health system - who runs the country anyway? The elected government or an unelected civil bureaucracy?)

Who cares?

The idiot Brits are prisoners in their own country. Out of control crime, socialism run rampant, third world medical care, taxed beyond reason, and over-run with muslim invaders.

That commercial with the guy tossing the old woman off the cliff should be mocked by republicans. They should make their own commercial.

An old couple in wheelchairs sitting next to each other under a tree. One asks the other, so when is your doctors appointment? The woman says, soon.

Show the picture again, this time have the leaves falling off the tree. Then the woman says,I had my appointment this morning. Said I have cancer. Doctor apologized, gave me an aspirin and sent me home.

The narrative is the section of obamacare where the death panels are created. at the end, show where people can view the bill, with the page and paragraph.
