(NewsCore) - NEW YORK -- Former International Monetary Fund (IMF) head Dominique Strauss-Kahn attempted to lure two attractive hotel employees to his $3,000-a-night New York hotel suite -- and later put the moves on an Air France flight attendant following his alleged sexual assault on a maid, the New York Post reported Sunday.
"What a nice ass!" he barked to the attendant, using the lewd French expression "Quel beau cul!" as she prepared the business-class cabin for takeoff last Saturday.
His catcall came just moments before Port Authority detectives hauled him off the plane, French magazine Le Point reported.
The final act of lust capped a whirlwind weekend of attempted womanizing for the former front-runner of the 2012 French presidential election.
The frisky Frenchman first tried his seduction skills on a VIP receptionist who escorted him to his suite at the Sofitel hotel Friday evening, law enforcement sources said.
When he got to his room, the 62 year old asked the "attractive" worker to join him for a glass of Champagne after her shift -- an invitation she described to authorities as "inappropriate" and that she rejected on the spot, the sources said.
Strauss-Kahn, a married father of four, then tried his game the following day on the desk receptionist who first checked him in, described by a source as an "attractive woman who caught his eye."
He asked her to join him in his suite, where he had a complimentary bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne. The woman said that, at first, he was "borderline flirting," and she declined the sordid invite, according to sources.
His attempted seductions came to light after investigators interviewed every Sofitel employee and pored over more than 48 hours of video footage, including recordings of Strauss-Kahn bolting from the hotel Saturday afternoon without checking out.
The silver-haired skirt-chaser did not explicitly ask either woman for sex, but both described his advances as blatantly "inappropriate," the sources said.
The frustrated Lothario allegedly resorted to violence after striking out with the two hotel staffers. Prosecutors said that after emerging from the suite's bathroom naked, he threw himself upon the unsuspecting 32-year-old maid who was in his room to clean.
Strauss-Kahn allegedly chased her down the hallway and into his bedroom, grabbed her breasts, attempted to pull down her pantyhose and forced her to perform fellatio before she tore free from his grasp and ran to tell her colleagues, who called the cops.
After leaving the hotel, the ex-banking big shot stopped for lunch with his daughter Camille, a Columbia University student, before grabbing a cab to JFK Airport. But the harried political bigwig realized that he left one of his seven cell phones behind and called the hotel.
Police investigating the alleged rape attempt had already told hotel employees to ask him where he was and tell him that they would deliver the phone. Strauss-Kahn even asked the pilot to delay the flight so it could be delivered but was refused, according to Le Point.
Strauss-Kahn was indicted on seven counts, including attempted rape, criminal sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment. He could face up to 25 years if convicted. He is pleading not guilty

More of this stuff will come out at trial, but its not just the rape kit that nails him, its the injuries suffered that are going to hang him.
Also, the stuff about her not screaming, he has a huge suite, I'm not sure how his looked, but some (not all) of the high end suites I stayed in, I could have throw a superbowl party and no one would have known.

There IS lots of physical evidence---DNA under her fingernails when she scratched him, blood on the bed, a paper trail indicating he had flim-flammed the hotel into thinking he had left.
Luxe hotels handle $3000 a night guests with kid gloves. There's a protocol----the help does not freely enter rooms at will. Apparently maids are not allowed to enter rooms until they are specifically told the guest has departed.
The hotel first sends in a bellman to cart off dishes, empty bottles, and the like BEFORE the maids go in to clean.
The victim had been told by the bellman that the guest had left....and got the OK to enter the room. But when she walked in, DSK was apparently hiding in the bathroom and ran out to attack her when he heard her come in.
From what we now know, it looks like HE set her up for rape.
They hustled him off to Rikers despite a high paid lawyer's plea........b/c he's done this before and had been warned. As was posted above----everyone in Paris has known for years he had something of a problem. Not many female journalists are prepared to interview him alone.
Interesting that he bolted the hotel to escape and left his belongings-----but really, really wanted the cell phone. Makes you wonder what was on there that he was desperate to hide?

Sorry, I haven’t seen any info on your defense of Strauss-Kahn side that is relevant enough to counteract the accusations. Especially if all the dan evidence pans out.

This guy was such a sleaze. Anybody who has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry will recognize the type.
But he was so powerful he thought he could get away with anything. And the French seem to agree. The press is filled with comments like, “but it doesn’t matter, she was just a chambermaid.”
There is a difference between a flirt and a predator. I had the wonderful experience of working for the latter for a short period of time. By the end, every woman in our department refused to be in an office with him if the door was closed. No one was ever left in the office suite alone with him either. We stopped accepting individual lunch invitations (which more than once conveniently included a stop by his home), take him to the airport or be in any other situation that gave him an opening.
Experience receptionists at places like the Sofitel can probably smell the difference, let alone pick up the nuances in the predator’s delivery.

I bet you’re going to see that this guy has a history of going after lower-status women everywhere he’s been. He’s on his third wife, so he was obviously going after higher-status women, too.
He is probably used to having hotels pressure their maids not to tell, possibly with a payoff involved. But I bet that generally the employer just pressured the maid or maybe offered her something trivial like her preferred shift because they wanted to keep his business. Airlines probably ignored any complaints from their attractive female flight attendants too.
But suddenly he encountered the NYPD and lost his magic.
The problem is all these odd coincidences...

2. Found by accident hiding in the hall next to Kahn's room
3.Maid Taken BACK into Kahn's room by supervisor and she's spitting all over the place
4. The phone??
5. An hour before they called police??
So he has a planned lunch with his daughter, a booked flight to Paris...where he lives and decides to attack the maid. Yeh, right...
I read it was lunch with one of his exes and their daughter Camille, the Columbia grad student.
Then he takes a cab to the airport, realizes he forgot one of his phones, and calls the hotel. Sofitel tells him they'll courier it out to airport, but sends the Port Authority Police instead.
So, contrary to initial impressions of haste, it would seem obvious he didn't think he'd done anything he hadn't got away with plenty of times before. Make of that what you will. LOL! After all, if it hadn't been for the phone, he'd have been high over the North Atlantic before they figured out where he was.
