Shortly after Obamas speech, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told reporters that he is prepared to go out on a limb for the president to support his plan for investing billions of dollars to spur democracy in the Middle East and North Africa.
I am willing to take the bruises and stand by Obama to engage countries like Egypt and Tunisia and stay involved in Libya and finish the job in Iraq, Graham said. I am willing to take American dollars at a time when were flat broke, go back home and suffer the consequences of sending aid to Egypt at a time when South Carolina has 10 percent unemployment because I believe the Egyptian revolution is about a new way of doing business thats better for us.
Our friends in Israel are very upset that he only focused on borders, said the South Carolina Republican. There are many other aspects of this deal that are being overshadowed.
But overall, he added, Obama did a really good job.

How the hell does the GOP keep electing these ass holes?
WE NEED A TEA PARTY MARCH ON GOP HEADQUARTERS
Graham is very consistent on both U.S. and Israeli border issues -— erase them. In Israel it’s called “the right of return,” and in the U.S. it’s called ‘amnesty’. Undoubtedly Lindsey tingles at the very thought it.
How long before the GOP establishment starts talking up Lindsey as a potential contender for the 2012 nomination?
I think you are right to question the source and accuracy
2 sources I googled , The Hill and this link, only mentioned that Graham said 0dumbo made a mistake:
“U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham criticized President Obamas speech Thursday, saying his call for adhering to the 1967 borders was a major mistake.
Anytime our president singles out an issue, it makes it more difficult, in my view, to have a comprehensive negotiation, so I quite frankly think it was a mistake, Mr. Graham told reporters Thursday afternoon.
I think what is a mistake is for us to talk about the borders and land swaps.
The GOP Fops are Tiptoeing through the Tulips. It should be their theme song.
Stupid, Stupid Bastard!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey SC Guys,Please hit the handle and Flush this TURD!
as God is my witness, I'll never vote conservative again!!
Ya know that’s a pretty good idea. These jerks just aren’t paying attention. Maybe a huge demonstration by tea partiers on their front doorstep would get their attention. Although some like Graham would be too busy listening to their Dem masters, to even notice.
The new real voice of the republican party has gone very left.
Screw the GOP. The Tea Party will rule.
When is this a-hole up for re-election?
I’m pretty sure you were being sarcastic but it wouldn’t surprise me if they did.
the prince of fools and his admirers
As one commentator said.
One should never listen to what Zero says but what he does.
However on this one I think he REALLY wants Israel destroyed.
Bt Zero’s own words, the world has to back the new? changes in the Arab world, RATHER THAN RELY ON ONE OR TWO LEADERS TO BROKER PEACE.
He just said that he is not even going to consider BiBi part of the solution.
The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, PLO are the only ones in Zeros mind elegible to broker peace?
Graham did NOT say this
it would not have surprised me though if he had
but even he was not this stupid
Unless all other news sources who have reported on what he said and just didn’t think saying even though we ar broke we should give billion
Graham did not say this
Hey Lindsey: don’t forget to wipe your mouth.
I seriously question the intelligence of our friends in both South Carolina and Arizona. You just have to say: “WTF?!?!”
You never know - after all, a few years back, he publicly referred to conservatives as "bigots."
