I would question your use of the word “most”. If race wasn’t more important to black churches than God; they wouldn’t be “black” churches in the first place.
I’ll change my opinion when someone can give me a comprehensive list of “white” churches.

Race is thicker than Truth!
Seems that type of ministry which is so needed is few. Our youth are further away from the truth than ever before. Where are these narcissistic ministers.. they are preaching for the money.
Last I heard Jakes doesn’t believe in the Trinity and if that’s still the case Jakes isn’t a Christian himself. One thing for sure, the Muslim dolt he thinks deserves an apology isn’t a Christian and in fact is actively working to cripple Christians in this country and to aid Muslims everywhere on the planet.
It is clear from this 2004 unedited interview by Cathleen Falsani with Obama that, even if one gives him the benefit of the doubt that he thinks of himself as a Christian, he is missing the very core beliefs of a Christian.

I was just thinking that!! I’m on the run and will check back later but this is one I want to deal with - Jakes is so wrong on so many levels - and his voice will not trump out the truth. I’d love to know his e box is flooded and his attempt to tell Christians anywhere that barry is a christian will not stand. What a fake, phony fraud deceitful attempt.
“Bishop” Jakes’s theology isn’t suspect - it’s just bad. Not as sure about his faith.
W didn’t attend ‘churches’ that taught ‘God damn America’, nor has EVERY act by this president been anti-Christian.

This ‘Bishop’ (T.D. Jakes) is obviously attempting to do damage control for Obama (probably unsolicited). Franklin Graham is well known for his work with the needy around the world and he carries a surname that is famous and respected among Christians. Jakes is trying to neutralize Graham’s comment that Barack Hussein Obama is considered to be a Muslim by many other Muslims, world-wide. He will fail.
No. The very idea of dividing of Jerusalem proves that he is NOT a Christian. Also agree that there is more evidence supporting a Muslim belief system than a Christian one. Heck,there is more evidence saying that he is NOT an American than that he is one.

Oh, BTW, when Franklin first said O was a muslim, and the left attacked him (viciously) I sent a lot of the critics links to videos showing Grahams asking people to send gifts to poor kids for Christmas around the world.

I told them I didn’t want to hear the venom for Graham when they probably never sent a gift to a kid in Haiti in their lives, and challenged them to fill a few shoeboxes.

Unfortunately true. A politician can be for gay rights, abortion (even partial term abortion), and say that Jews ought not to settle in Jerusalem—and still not be criticized by the black church. (Case in point: Obama).
A cult can believe its leader is surrounded at all times by 1500 tiny invisible space ships, and that in the End, all races other than the black race will be annihilated and the mother ship will evacuate black people—and his minions can still be welcomed to speak in black churches—because he shares a color with the congregation. (Case in point: Farrahkhan)
A hate group can demand that all other races be exterminated—especially Jews—and its leaders can still be welcomed to speak in black churches. (Case in point: the black panthers)
In black churches, race always trumps, and Jesus comes in second.
