In many areas, yes. In a few areas here there are fires though and they could use some more rain. There is this fire down in the Alligator river national wildlife reserve in NC and the smoke sometimes blows up where we are. Stinky...
But Ahmadinejad, he's such a loon. He has to have someone to blame for everything, even the weather. It seems with muslims everything has to be a conspiracy. I remember reading articles a while back where the Egyptians thought a shark was sent by the mossad to ruin their tourism, and some other muslim country thought Israel was sending vultures to spy on them.
