During the 80s, my mother and I were having drinks at an outside cafe across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gorgeous day. Bibi comes in, sits down with a friend and orders a drink. My mother - who has had crushes on Israeli politicians and soldiers (starting with Moshe Dayan) dashes over and starts up a conversation with him. I cringe in shyness. He was very nice, very good-looking and had that wonderful speaking voice.
I felt sorry for him during that tv press conference. I’m sure he just wanted to belt Obama but had to sit there looking presidential.
Stick a ‘stache on Barry, and he’d look like Richard Pryor.

We hired Bush as the national ‘CEO’, and he shows up on TV in Aug/Sep 2008 telling the nation that the country is facing a national economic emergency and we need to FINANCIALLY BAILOUT just about anything in sight, and we have to do it ‘IMMEDIATELY’! When it actually took weeks to twist everyone’s arms, and nothing happened in the interim.
I don’t deny the RATs bearing the largest share of the blame, but he NEVER confronted congress with any budget vetoes to stand up for what was right.
We can be ‘conservatives’ and fight for what is right, but I’m not a ‘party’ guy who will defend a ‘Republican’, even if he happened to be a ‘President’.
