UPDATE

No TSA Agents At Prom Despite Court Ruling

Story posted 2011.05.22 at 04:53 PM MDT

There were no TSA agents patting down students at the Santa Fe High School prom on Saturday night, despite a federal judge's ruling that there had to be.

This is after two sisters from another Santa Fe district high school said they were groped at a recent dance.

A Federal judge ruled on Friday that TSA certified personnel must now supervise district pat downs, like those at dances or graduations.

“With it being late Friday afternoon, there just wasn't time to achieve that,” Santa Fe superintendent Bobbie Gutierrez said.

Gutierrez said instead of TSA agents, the court is allowing Santa Fe High School to use state police for the prom.

“They didn't touch me personally, just had me pull out my phone, all my personal items,” student Timothy Velasquez said.

The Herrera sisters, who said they were violated at a recent Capital High School prom, filed a case against the Santa Fe Public Schools.

It’s time for the parents to take action against these gestapo tactics - we are not NAZI Germany, despite what the national socialist democrats want.

This lets the TSA get into the genitalia of prime Americans
who are NO THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES Of AMERICA.

Is that not their directive?

I didn’t see any text at the link and the video won’t work for me.
Did school officials invite the TSA?

(must be a tough school. My highschool was so tough it was called “Our Lady of Shrapnel”)

TSA Patdowns At Santa Fe Prom

What sort of public transportation is needed at a prom that would strike national safety concerns?

SANTA FE — A federal judge has ordered the Santa Fe Public Schools to hire officers from the Transportation Security Administration — which provides airport security — to supervise searches of students at the Santa Fe High School prom today and at the coming Capital High School graduation. U.S. District Judge James O. Browning also directed that the searches must be “graduated,” with pat-downs only if reasonable grounds are established first.

It is this administration that should be held accountable. I hope the Republicans pound this issue and all other Constitution violations throughout the election cycle. I have no compassion for anything that might happen to these people from the fakir to the guy at the airport.

TSA has been training at a hazmat facility outside of Pueblo, Colorado.
They will be taking over security for trains, trucking, and basically any DOT issues.
They are quietly and quickly spreading their talons America. They ARE reminenscent of the brown shirts and nazis.
TSA is Obama’s “civilian security force” he talked about.

The videos suggest all these students are hispanic. My guess is there's more than your fair share of illegal aliens in the crowd, and even some as yet untamed Mexicans from the interior ~ ALL CARRYING KNIVES, with the more Americanized among their number carrying guns.

Must be a hoot when you get them into dress clothes and put them in a small room.

Maybe it is time for kids to stop attending school proms in favor of parent organized proms with lists of invited guests, parent chaperones etc.
Just cut the schools, cops, courts, and the TSA out of the equation.

Bingo welcome to the Prison State of America.

The TSA has no business what so ever to be at that school. What are we Nazi Germany now?

Now if this was the U.S. Mexican border then the TSA wants nothing to do with it. They are only interested in conditioning Americans to get use to having their 4th Amendment to the Constitution violated.

They absolutely have, especially when you consider that a obvious Muslim would not be patted down for fear of insulting them. America is now lost because it was our founders desire that we rise up against the tyranny of our government and we haven’t even risen up against the criminal invaders (let alone our own government). Stick a fork in us.

What sort of public transportation is needed at a prom that would strike national safety concerns?

I recall one weekend dance at the old Seth Hall where the first thing I saw after going through the door was a chair coming in my direction.

I didn't stick around long enough to find out what the brawl was about. We all got back in the car and went down to Ingram's Drive in for the evening. Circa 1960's
