It’ll certainly be interesting to see how successful the NYPD is at prosecuting and sentencing a prominent foreigner.

I suspect he’ll be found guilty and deported or rendered into French custody, where he’ll return home a political martyr, and twice as popular as before. :(

I think most Americans suspect there’s something up with Amanda Knox’s story, for example, even if they deride the Italian justice system for its missteps. Reading European news, it seems most French either truly believe this guy is innocent (at best) or that he was justified (at worst...)

Apparently this DSK guy used the same “service” as “Client #9” Elliot Spitzer.

They sent over a woman and she said that she would NEVER go back - the second time they sent over a woman she said that she would NEVER go back - and they they should NEVER send another woman to this guy.

Apparently a couple thousand dollars wasn't enough for even a professional to put up with what this guy wanted to do to them.

The maid service at a cheap hotel may well moonlight as prostitutes. At a five star hotel at 3,000 a night? Not likely. Far more likely that a couple thousand dollar call girl is going to be called to that room.

For many years, I was traveling worldwide 40-50% of my time and never, NEVER, heard until now that hotel maids were easy pickings for $$$. Hard to believe that maids who have to spend all their time cleaning up often putrid refuse and soiled accomodations are the same kind of gals who look to do a trick or two. Sure fooled me. How does one raise the subject? Do you sort of hang out with your knickers down until the maid shows up?

Must be some really horny or desperate guests out there who would pay to roll with a hotel maid when hotel lounges are usually well supplied with an entire range of attractive pros. Different strokes...
