He illustrates the fact that, the end result of socialism is fascism, every time. Growing up in school, the teachers taught us that normal people were “uptight” and authoritarian, etc, and liberalism would herald a new age of peace, harmony and understanding. Oddly enough, looking back and today it’s modern conservatives who are the real liberals, with the caveat that many modern republicans aren’t conservatives, just wishy washy control-freaks. It’s the modern liberal leftists who are the real deal and are the real pros at stuff like this, as Mr. Moore illustrates. The sad thing is there aren’t enough clear thinking folks around in either party. Way too many people view government as a club with which to beat people with for whatever their favorite hobby is. People smoking in bars? Why, there ought to be a law!
The problem with people like this, even apart from their fascist ideology, their ideas never work, and they never admit they were wrong Then they double down and claim they need more (taxpayer) money. RINOs suck because they are of no practical use or defense and seek “compromise” with the neo-totalitarians. There isn’t any compromise with such clearly divergent worldviews, these people need to be stopped no matter what they might call themselves, because right thinking peoples no what they are. We’ve seen this movie before.
It would be nice to think that Moore is a lone kook on this. The problem is that probably nine out of ten liberals basically agree with him. The only thing keeping them in check is us.
