This is right up there with Obama accepting an award for government transparency in an unannounced, closed door meeting.

His ride of choice to the unveiling: This 12-mpg Chevy Suburban SUV. I don't see the problem here. Hasn't being a loyal, dedicated party member always come with certain privileges?

Seamus O’Bama: “Guys, the economy is in the crapper, we’re suckin’ hind tit on this recovery thing, and we have no realistic energy policy. Does anybody have any ideas? Yeah, Ray, whatcha got?”
LaHood: “Mr. President, I’m thinking maybe some new stickers.”
Seamus: “I like it Ray! Let’s go with that. Timmy how bout some stickers for the Treasury? We can send Hu a case or two. Now peace out, y’all work on that sticker thing, I got a two o’clock tee time. “.

Black is a terrible color in DC’s climate, absorbs way too much heat. Also the truck looks very clean to me. If they let it get dirty (and lighter gray), they would save even more energy.

People who knew RINO DoT Sec LaHood in IL politics hoped that he'd have been found in the trunk of a car in a bad section of E. St. Louis.
There were rumors of some very shady deals cut by this worthy — but nothing was proved. And so Ray went on to bigger corruption and validated the Peter Principle is alive and well in the nation's capitol.
