Outgoing Fox News host Glenn Beck and his company, Mercury Radio Arts, are developing a new service called GBTV, which will be a web-based TV channel, according to sources familiar with the matter as well as trademark applications filed by the company.
GBTV will be based at GBTV.com, which Mercury acquired in January.
Mercury also filed a trademark on a tagline for the channel: The Truth Lives Here, as well as a logo (pictured after the jump), based on the logo for his InsiderExtreme subscription service.
The trademark applications are limited exclusively to programming delivered via the internet, so it is not likely that GBTV will become an actual TV network anytime in the near future. Mercury also filed the GBTV trademark for ancillary products, like DVDs, podcasts, mobile applications and video games.

Due to the possibility of negative comments, will not be replying.
Beck is pretty much the only thing I watch on TV anymore. Occasionally House Hunters International...and football, when it’s in season.
When Beck’s show goes off the air, I’m cutting the cable cord.
Will you reply to positive comments? You Go Glenn!
LOL just ignore them. They aren’t important.
I really hope he does good at it. I will admit that there are a few times I can’t watch him because I hate seeing my country going down the tubes. But, I do watch his show more than not.
Maybe he and Oprah should team up. Just kidding.
Hmmmmm.
LOL That was funny!
Does he know that GBTV is street slang for Gay, Bi, Transvestite?
Only in your neighborhood.
>>Only in your neighborhood.<<
Everywhere.
Let me guess. It’s all available by subscription only, for a low, low price of $9.95 a month.
Co-host S.E.Cupp!
SOUNDS GOOD!
Best Wishes and Prayers for Glenn Beck!!
You must be dyslexic if you confused LGBT with GBTV. LOL!
I have seen the latter as well.
But not everyone has my considerable cred ;)
No you haven’t. Just admit it.
>>No you havent. Just admit it.<<
Hey, mess don’t my cred street with! I’ll yut ca!
Some probably will but only a very small fraction. He will go from maybe around million a day (max) to worse than a YouTube channel if he tries to charge.
If he gets some good sponsors Beck could possibly revolutionize internet TV. Nobody can tell him what to do & nobody can bully his sponsors.
Goodness. Why wait and spend that money every month! You can watch Beck AND House Hunters and anything else on line FREE.
I cut off my satellite 2 1/2 years ago...and never looked back. (I get 2 PBS channels, NBC, ABC and CBS with just my beat up old antenna....but I seldom have my TV on...and am saving an additional bunch of money by having my TV/VCR/DVD player on a power strip.
Here on line to just about every channel IN THE WORLD - free
I watch FOX on that link.

(For a gazillion other channels - click on ‘live TV’ in the left hand column)
There are many more - hulu.com, etc...
I do pay $7.98 a month to Netflix for movies - and TV series. I like the convenience of watching them when I choose - and like to save up the series to watch several weeks worth in one sitting...
and the best part? All that money I used to shell out to satellite - in MY pocket.
I’m tired of all these radio guys (and gals) having their premium member podcasts and other moneymaking gimmicks. Just keep the commercials in there, give me the podcast, and you’ll have a MUCH bigger audience.
