He’ll plea bargain to a much reduced charge and probably agree to forfeit his law license. I doubt he serves any time.

I always love a good Rat corruption trial. I am a little giddy over this Rat in particular getting the once over and a possible jail term. With hair like that, he will have a good time behind bars.

Fed Prosecutors could keep themselves very busy if they invested this president. No, instead, go after some loser that won’t make a difference to this country.

John Edwards is a good Democrat. Democrats are not corrupt.

Nancy Pelosi said that the Republicans had a culture of corruption. But good Democrats are never corrupt.

I feel sorry for his little kids. A few years ago they had a mom and a (albeit a loser) dad. Now they could lose both in a very short period of time. But I have to sympathy for Edwards himself.

Let’s see: Clinton lost his law license but still walked away, and with millions, plus the White House China.

Elliot Spitzer lost his job but don’t know about his law license. No further punishment; apparently no serious state investigations into his money and whether he used state money to pay for his trists.

John Edwards: Still has millions (down to two homes from his original 4 worth over $12 million. Loses one wife; still has his love-bunny (don’t know the status of this as of today).

Now Holder’s DOJ is going after him, not because he broke the law, but because he’s the whiteboy loser of the presidential election (VP spot) and he must be punished for helping the Democrats lose. I wonder if John Kerry is next?
The Obama regime has no love for losers - which is why the underside of the bus is so filled.

Who’s next? Arnold “the Impreginator” Schwarzenneger?

If DOJ actually moves against Edwards, expect a similar action soon against Senator Ensign.

I'd be surprised if little Lord Fontleroy does even one second behind bars.

Laws are only for the serfs, not the govt royalty. /s

You got that right. This guy has been nothing but a user, taker and sh!theel his whole life. He’s a shakedown artist who chased ambulances for most of his career. He’s paid no price for it, and he isn’t going to. Hyped-up charges will be announced. He’ll plead down, pay a stiff fine, get 10 years probation and lose his license to practice law. Tops.

Prediction: he will never serve one day, and if he does it’ll be in some kiddie joint.

You could be right. It all depends on what he's charged with. The feds can pile on the charges when they want to.

Geeze Laz...I wish I could be as optimistic about this as you but I find it hard to believe Edwards will ever, even if convicted, serve a single day in prison. It’s a good thought, though.
