I have to say that as a native Texan, I am very dissapointed in the Legislature this session...And last session for that matter...
There has been an influx of moderation in the majority here in this state, and I am ashamed to see it go this way...
The only corrective measure I can see is a massive replacement effort to get rid of these moderates and let the extremes of both parties duke it out over the next few sessions...I would prefer a straight up fight to all this fartin’ around going on...
Elected officials (including myself) are getting fed up with the feckless nature of Texas politics and its very effective resolve to do the left’s (minority) bidding...
I and a few others I know may end up burning some personal bridges with fellow Republicans, and that is unfortunate...But when the focus is gone, and the feckless nature of moderation infect the majority, it is time for a change, and maybe in the long run some of those friendships I value will be repaired...
We are close to many drastic changes being inacted, and the weather is not going to get any better for a while...
Its like I always say:
“What are you prepared to do about it??? And what are you willing to sacrifice for it???”
Its the ultimate gut-check...And one I do not believe many people are willing to take...
When reality finally set in to the people who started this great experiment called these United States of America...They didn’t just gripe and moan about it in private or in public, they did just that, and when the time came everyone went home and made musket balls...
When in the course of Human events, it becomes necessary...
Everyone has their own personal line in the sand that is labeled as “necessary”...
The numbers are growing everyday...We might very well be able to keep us from going over the edge before it is too late...
Just my opinion...
