Posted on 05/26/2011 6:33:24 PM PDT by Lobbyist
My son has been sent home from the hospital today. He has been there since last Thursday with what they thought was appendicitis. However, it was not. Then they thought it was diverticulosis. It was not. Now, they think he may have colon cancer. He is only 30-years-old. Please pray for him. Thank you.
Prayers up to you and your son and don’t give up
Prayers for your son and all your family.
Prayers up!! Please keep us all posted. I assume he will be getting a colonoscopy to see whats going on. 30 is very young, has he ever had colon issues before? Family history?
Praying...and please let us know what the doctor’s find out
Oh, no... Prayers for your son and your whole family!
Prayers for you and your son.
Deepest prayers from Connecticut for your son.
Prayers up for your son and all.
Please keep us up to date on his condition.
Prayers coming from our house.
None. No colon cancer on either side. They told him he has to wait a month for a colonoscopy because of the inflamation. I’m traveling to the west coast tomorrow. I want him to get second opinion.
May God watch over you all (and him in particular) & guide him through this; praying for good news.
Prayers for you and your son. If there is still some question is it possible to get an opinion from another hospital/doctor?
Praying for you and your son. God is in control. All is well.
Yeah that’s ridiculous that they are telling him to wait a month. He might have a polyp that is causing his problem. He needs a colonoscopy immediately to rule everything out. Colitis, IBS, so many different disorders of the colon that can cause inflammation. It would be very strange for him to have colon cancer at such a young age, especially with no family history of any colon related problems. My father died of colon cancer at age 52, my grandfather had it when he was in his late 70s(Did not die from it, ended up getting a stroke years later) so for me I have to be extra cautious especially since I do have colon problems but definitely do NOT wait a month for a colonoscopy, get it done the latest sometime next week.
Oh my goodness! You certainly have my prayers.
Man - that’s tough...prayers up.
May Lobbyist’s son be healed aright now in Jesus’ Holy name. Amen.
I’m with you.
Prayers up! *hugs*
Prayers for your son’s health and successful treatment.
Wow. Very young for colon cancer. On the prayer list now. Keep the faith. Herman Cain beat stage four colon cancer. Take heart.
Where is your son..in California? If he is I can recommend some good doctors for him to see..I belong to Kaiser so I know most of them in SoCal..but depends on where he’s at
Prayers for your son.
Praying for him, your family, and his physicians that they will find the correct diagnosis.
My prayers to the Lord Jesus for your son. God bless him and heal him.
Prayers for your son. I have Ulcerative Colitis myself which flares up every couple of years. Praying he gets a clear diagnosis, treatment and full recovery.
He lives just south of SF near Stanford U.
Your son is in my prayers... and you are in my prayers too. This must be so difficult - may God watch over all of you.
They need to look at Crohns. This seems to be the age.
Been there, done that (at 46 yrs. old). Prayers sent. All will be okay. Modern medicine is miraculous.
Praying for your son to get better soon.
Is he going to the hospital at Stanford?
They should have some good specialists over there..he needs a specialist..he might have IBS..what kind of symptoms is he experiencing? It just happened out of the blue or was he suffering with this for a while..sorry for all the questions but since I’m familiar with this kind of stuff(Unfortunately) I figured I might be able to give ya some info.
I’ll pray for you and your son. The diagnosis of cancer affects the whole family.
Colon cancer is beatable if caught in time.
My precious Dad beat liver cancer (26 yrs ago) and colon cancer (12 years ago). But he succumbed to bone cancer three weeks ago and is now with the Lord.
You and your son and his medical team are in my prayers.
That is horrible, my condolences to you and your family. This damn cancer I wish they could find a cure for this horrible disease..taken too many lives
Prayers for your son.
Father, please heal your child. Amen.
Prayer for you and your son
