Agree, disagree, I don’t care. I won’t be supporting any abortionist/homosexualist/statist for president. And this website will actively campaign against any such nominee. The chips will fall where they may.

At some point a line in the sand has to be drawn between the GOP establishment career politicians who love and want to stay in DC more than anything else, and the people in the states who are having their rights trampled on and their pockets picked while federal workers in DC and Maryland and Virginia live high on the hog on our dime.

That time is now

This is not going to be like the rat primary in 2008 where Hillary Clinton and Obama were trying to prove which one was more socialist.

This is a war between the Washingtonians and the heartland, and the Washingtonians are going to get their clocks cleaned if Palin and Cain and whoever else wants to speak the truth and talk common sense speak out, and that means attacking the GOP establishment and the muzzie in chief.

And that means making it clear that anybody who supports baby killing or socialized medicine is a non-starter from day one, not letting the media prop up people like Giuliani and Romney as viable candidates, getting in their face and making clear that they might as well not waste the money, because they have no shot.

When the wife of a 40-yo marriage no longer sits in the middle portion of the seat of a pick-up truck, who moved?

Excellant anology!

I’m not going to advocate Romney at all, but he has said he will sign a repeal for ObamaCare if Congress gives him the chance.

He's lied before and he'll do it again many times over. Anything that spews from his mouth is not to be trusted. You can be assured that if he wins and ObamaCare comes up he'll then explain all the reasons why he NOW supports it. He's not called "flipper" for no reason as we all know.

Well... at the rate things are going in our country the plan just might be ‘both parties’ expect everything to crash no matter who is elected.. and it's more about positioning whose going to be stuck riding the horse off the cliff!

So say a Republican takes it...the economy completely crashes....four to eight years of attempts to lift the nation back up...THEN the Democrats come in, after the Republicans have done all the heavy lifting, claim the victory of recovering the nation for doing nothing at all.

They've pulled this crap before. They may very well let Obama take the fall with the nation...and why they pushed him to front of the line in the first place.

Just some thoughts...but anymore politicians are in it for themselves and could care less what happens to the nation and it's people while they dance their dance for power and position.

The cost of incarceration and deportation is dwarfed by the social costs of letting illegals stay, be it counted in crime, welfare, or jobs taken and CITIZENS in the unemployment line.

My line in the sand is that whatever you say about gay marriage, whatever you say about abortion, whatever you say about taxes - if you are unwilling to defend America’s borders and citizens from an onslaught of illegal migrants you are NOT A PATRIOT.

Palin has had two and a half years to come out from under McCain’s shadow. On the issue of illegal aliens, she has failed to do so.

I see noob that you're a Palin hater. They don't last long here.

Sarah Palin on Illegal Immigration - Dec 2009

Palin: We need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country. It’s pretty simple. I ratcheted that one down to the simple answer because it’s an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be: you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it seriously what our border patrol officers are trying to do.

Sarah Palin says Obama lacks guts on illegal immigration - August 2, 2010

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said Sunday that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) has "the cojones" that President Obama "does not have" to take on illegal immigration.

Once again, you sidestep the issue. Show me where Palin has backed off her support for a path to citizenship for illegals already in America, and I’ll agree that she’s a candidate who is worthy of the office. Closing the borders helps, but not enough if you’re committed to granting amnesty to illegals already here and start printing H1Bs like...well, US Dollars.

Yes, you did. In neither link does she repudiate a path to citizenship and embrace deportation.

I have no hatred for Palin to cloud my vision, but apparently your love for this potential candidate is clouding yours.

Oh you hate Palin. You are denigrating her for not using the specific language that you want. In those two quotes she is very clear. You just refuse to accept it.

Palin: We need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason

You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it seriously what our border patrol officers are trying to do.

And AGAIN, massive incarceration and deportation is EXPENSIVE and not a step that we need to take as was demonstrated when Arizona passed it's law. They fled. Your dislike of Palin is clouding your vision.

I am denigrating her for not endorsing specific policies that I support. If you’re fine with a path to citizenship, that’s an opinion you can hold. Others here hold it. I do not.

Show me where she pushes amnesty once she stopped representing McCain.

You are parsing what she has said. I note your pushing Herman Cain and he claims he'll deport. Again, the problem in MONEY as he'd find out if he'd ever held office. Massive incarceration and deportation would be expensive. We only need to build the fence, give Border Patrol free reign and enforce the law.

AGAIN, illegals fled when Arizona passed their law. Mass deportation isn't necessary if they find the laws enforced.

Illegal Immigrants Flee Arizona Enforcement, Sanctuary Cities Attract Them

With no sanctuary cities they'd be out of luck and keep running back to Mexico.

Are you a retread?

To: DJ MacWoW

Of course I’m parsing what she said. That’s how you tell the difference between what a politician says and what a politician means.

I am not opposed to a fence, to e-verify, and to allowing border patrol to do their jobs. If, as you claim, the majority of illegals will flee voluntarily than the cost of incarceration and deportation would be a fraction of what you are concerned about.

As far as where she has pushed amnesty one she stopped representing McCain, that was her position and she has not refuted it. It is not my responsibility as a voter to try and dig up a re-affirmation of her original pro-amnesty stance. It is her responsibility as a candidate to loudly and clearly refute such a stance.

Am I a retread? I am a conservative with loyalty to my country, and not to any political party. If the Republicans nominate a suitable candidate like Herman Cain (who supports deportation of illegals, not a path to citizenship for them), they will have earned my vote. If they nominate Sarah Palin - and she refutes her McCainish approach to amnesty - they will have earned my vote.

If they nominate someone who is going to print greencards for the 20-30 million people who snuck into the country, they will not.
