Before slamming Gallup, think about this: people's perceptions are shaped by what they are exposed to. The MSM is a constant barrage of homosexuality as being the norm and very, very, very common.

In other words, the brainwashing of America continues unabated.

The biggest shortfall that I see in this poll is that they ask people, Just your best guess, what percent of Americans today would you say are gay or lesbian?

They should have also asked: Out of the people who you actually know, how many of them are gay or lesbian?

Of course, the latter would not be an effective measure of how people are being brainwashed by the culture.

Horrible. The propaganda has been very successful. The Guttmacher institute - connected with Planned Parenthood IIRC and not conservative - did a couple of surveys a few years ago and about 1.5 to 2% consider themselves homosexuals. I'll post a few links in a minute.

Obviously, most people are grossly overestimating the percentages of gays and lesbians in the American population based on the grossly excessive amount of time and space the MSM takes up discussing the subject.

The real number is something no more than 2% of adult males and a fraction of one percent of adult females. The numbers may differ somewhat in different studies depending upon the criteria used to define male homosexual and/or lesbian.

No academic would agree. Numerous surveys in many countries show that (including bisexuals) gays are 2-3% of the population and lesbians are 1-2%.

The Census shows San Francisco is about 5% homosexual - and this is one of the most dense concentration of homos in the nation.

The Census shows many many Counties in America with under 2%. Some counties don’t even register enough homos to rate 1%.

I can easily understand why people think there are 25%-50% queers in America. Every single TV show has at least one. Every single movie has them. Pop culture makes it look as if every other person is queer.

The FACT is, less than 2% of people are homosexual. That is the fact.

You ask that we not slam GALLUP but you better check out their polls. They always, always, always slant so far left that they have zero credibility. They must poll downtown Detroit, downtown Chicago, etc. They can claim the polls are random but I wouldn’t be surprised if they can select certain area codes to come up “randomly” more often than others. I cannot remember the last time I saw a GALLUP poll that didn’t swing FAR left. The poll that spoke the clearest to me was the 2010 election - the one that indicates that this country isn’t as far left as GALLUP would like to convince us it is.

Biologically it should be well under 5% if not 0%............there is likely to be too many individuals who fit the liberal mold of fitting in with one’s gender group by bonding physically/mentally.
