Awww, 38 years! Congrats! Get it for her — she will love it. It’s definitely not for preggies only. Read the reviews on amazon; a lot of people love those Comfort U pillows for various reasons. And you can still cuddle around it, have no fear.

People PEOPLE PEOPLE

I don't know what you're all talking about.

Clearly the way to good health is via natural herbs/enzymes/essential oils/vitamins/crystals/reflexology/bonkus.

Why not treat your body the way Nature intended?

It does make staying in hotels a problem unless they have a lounge chair in the room, which is not common.

Invest in some triangular-shaped luggage, and use it as a wedge cushion. If you can't find any, invent and market it. :) There's a lot of people out there dropping antacid.

Thanks. I’m buying a water bed. Any suggestions on which one to buy?

Once you buy a waterbed you won't have to replace anything in it except the mattress every 10-15 years.

Buy the cheapest one, the free-flow mattress, plastic liner and the box frame that holds it, plus a waterbed heater. Mattress will be $60-80 depending on size, heater is/was $50, liner $15-20.

The box frame used to be just a box and if you wanted, a pedestal with drawers in it. These days it is furniture with a lot of choices. Depending on your wants you can find tons of plans to build your own frame.

First time I saw a waterbed was in the 70s at a Home Show in Boston. There was a handsome fellow jumping up and down on an uncovered waterbed. My coworker and I showed interest and that attracted a crowd at which point the fellow jumped off the waterbed. He took out a knife and sliced the vinyl water bag. A piece of vinyl elect tape stopped the leak and the guy got back on the bed and jumped up and down again. I remembered that several years later when new neighbors finally sold me on it.

If you don't like your top sheet tucked in at the foot; waterbed sheets are stitched together. I buy normal sheets one size large; it's what I like.

Hi I dug this old thread up by searching for some help for my sleep apnea. From your post back in 2011 you said you cured yourself by learning how to sleep sitting up. Is this still working for you?

Yes, and I recommend you try it.

I sleep like in the corner of the couch. I do not have to sit totally upright, but I’m up.

A recliner might work, too, if not stretched out too much. You could experiment.

It’s been a lifesaver for me!

Thank you so much Perservero. I will try it, I have a CPAP but I cannot seem to get used to it.

There seems to be some interesting research on inclined bed therapy (IBT) going on, that helps many other health issues.
