Gov. Mark Dayton has vetoed a bill that would have protected fast-food chains from consumers suing over weight gain and other health problems.

The Democratic governor said the bill went beyond its intention of holding people responsible “for their own dietary choices.”

He said it would have created a broader loophole for the companies.

Just as leech unions, leech wefare recipients, leech illegal immigrants etc., leech lawyers are a major left constituancy.

He knows which leeches butter his bread - hence the veto.

He said it would have created a broader loophole for the companies.

To Mark Dayton it is a battle between business and government, not a working relationship.

When Dayton first ran for office back in the '80's he was a laughing stock, this is what we have devolved to now, he is respected by some.
