Well the family and the economy is going South fast. Maybe the Bahama out Islands would be a nice option.
Many of us, here on FR and elsewhere tend to put too much stock in elections, politicians, policies, government etc. Some, look at our problems as some sort of accounting issue - we shouldn't spend these billions or we should cut these programs. To them our salvation lies in "economic conservatism," whatever that means.
Elections, pols, spending etc. are simply a product of society, society is not a product of elections and governments. How people are raised and educated is EVERYTHING.
Our problem is that we have too many badly raised people. Elections and fiscal policy will never and can never fix that.
Traditional western family structure did not simply collapse. Working class fathers and men in general were outlawed by both political parties and their few favored constituents. It was instigated in the USA by the resurgence of romanticism (Susan B. Anthony, her anti-family friends and many European immigrants from the middle of the 1800s on) and finished over the last 35 years or so with much propaganda, legislation and illegal drugs added to the mix.
...nothing that the default won’t fix.
Americans are letting the redefinition of the family destroy their nation.
