Here we go again, Rudy Giuliani edition.
A new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation national poll shows the former New York City mayor atop the slow-forming Republican primary field.
The survey shows Giuliani getting 16 percent of independents and Republicans, with nominal frontrunner Mitt Romney a point behind at 15 percent.
Sarah Palin gets 13 percent.

Rudy would be great for National Defense....what he did to NYC (everyone in NYC hated the man, especially unions). He turned what used to be a crap filled dangerous toilet called NYC into what it is now....or used to be.
As POTUS, I say HELL NO. National Defense, I say yes. He is not politically correct and does have a spine of steel. He was IN 9/11, survived and preserved. Remember, at that time he was Americas Mayor. He takes no sh&t.
However, he is socially lib; therefore NOT a Conservative, which is what our country needs as POTUS.
I say get ready fellow Conservatives......for the fight of our lives, and I mean that literally.
Sarah or bust, or it's on to phase two which has been spoken of, but can be avoided if we ALL stand our ground.
Sarah or phase two. YOU decide.
I am waiting for them to dig up Harold Stassen.
Yeah, first Perry this week and now Rudy. The GOP “Anybody but Sarah” crowd is in a full-blown panic.
How could this be or is this not a reliable poll? Giuliani was outed in 2008 as a liberal who was a pretty good cop. What’s this all about?
Rudy polled well then lost to Mccain
A poll eight months out, with a sampling error of +/-4% and no candidate getting more than 15% is utterly meaningless. You may as well be sampling the preponderance of colors in a bag of M&Ms
Rudy’s position on national security/foreign policy issues isn’t conservative either. He would use our military to intervene in every single conflict around the world while leaving our own borders wide open here at home.
This is a CNN poll, so they probably polled a bunch of Dems about who they'd like for the GOP. Giuliani is a fervent pro abortion, anti gun liberal Republican. You or I stand a better chance of being nominated.
Which by the way, is absolutely disgusting. They are so afraid of Sarah, even more now since her bus tour has become known.
Oh boy... either we have a lot of stupid people in one party or too smart ones on the other side trying to divert our attention as if distracting a pack of wild dogs chasing a rabbit (the ideal candidate).
Remember people, whatever we get, MUST be new blood! (no more old farts the likes of McCaca, Romney, Bushes of ANY kind and the others... they all had their shot, it's time for them to disappear and let the new ones come in.)
Its Sarah or Bust. I don’t care anymore. If they throw Sarah under the bus, then I’ll throw them under the bus as well
Guliani’s campaign crashed and burning in 2008.
I expect a repeat.
If the Republican nominee is a strong conservative, perhaps making Rudy the running mate would help. But Giuliani has no business being at the top of the ticket.
If the GOP wins the Presidency, he can be Attorney General.
LMAO!!! Yeah, suuuuure he is! : D
It's all about them pushing a RINO as our nom. As I have stated, Rudy was a terrific leader during 9/11, survived it and took leadership without hesitation and hated these bastards as much as we did....and still do.
I cannot support his POTUS run; however, regarding National Defense, he is a bulldog. He, like us, still have 9/11 in our minds on a daily basis. They know this and will attempt to use it against us.
They have ALL barrels pointed towards Sarah, our only hope for this nation. It is now "ANYONE BUT SARAH.
Game on....bring it.
Rudy led in 07 too, by the time 08 rolled around he already bottomed out. When Sarah enters the race, it will be her, Cain, and those others.
Amen to that. They all know we hate mittens so now they are digging through their garbage to see “who may float”.
I would not be surprised if they start bringing up 9/11 and how Rudy was Americas mayor during that awful terrorist attack.
We need to be on guard, at all times.
For me, it’s Sarah or nothing. I keep praying for God to tell Sarah she MUST run, pray He forces her to, lol.
I don’t see any other way out.
As do I.
Attorney General would probably be a great place for him as well.
This message is intended for those posters on FR who seem to have missed my prior statements in this regard and insist on advocating for these bastards. I'd rather shut the place down than be involved in any effort to install abortionist/gay rights pushing RINOS like Romney or Giuliani into the White House!! Do NOT push this crap on FR. Take your business elsewhere!! And I don't care how long you've been here!!
BS
Push polls...
Good point. I wouldn’t want another Bush in the White House.
Lol, it's not just you. A lot of us bear that burden. Sucks to be us......for now.
It is VERY early yet in the election cycle.
People still deciding to run, making statements, decisions and seeing how they are received.
I wouldn’t worry too much about this
It must have been a secret poll just for Giuliani supporters.
Maybe, maybe not. I would prefer a Palin/Cain or Palin/West ticket. We need a strong Conservative leadership at the top to get us out of this mess.
Rudy could serve UNDER their leadership; however, not as one of our to two.
We are changing it to, "Nobody but Sarah!"
I’m just wondering what Hannity will do if his beloved Rudy enters the race? Who will he support, Gingrich or Giuliani?
He lost to McCain, Huckabee, Romney, and about everyone else in the field. He dropped out very early. Probably a stalking horse for McCain in much the same way Fred Thompson was. McCain became the presumptive nominee with just 33% of the vote thanks to winner take all and open primaries. If Bachmann and Palin enter, that will split the conservative vote.
What a frantic and desperate display of RINO pushing.
The polls this far out from an election are a joke and the poll huggers amongst us are an embarrassment.
Seems like a whole bunch of ABP to me.
Liz, you apparently missed my comment which I posted after the article.
I know Jim’s rule and believe in it, or else I would not be here on FR.
I posted this as a WARNING. Read before you post such things.
I really like Rudy, but not as my president.
Totally.
By, "Independents", you mean, "DemocRATS".
I do nothing but worry. Most of our lives have been turned upside down by this usurper in OUR White House.
For me, it is Sarah or SCREW IT ALL. I WILL NOT pull the lever for anyone else but. In 2008, I voted for Sarah, not mclame.
If Sarah is NOT at the top of the ticket, the only thing I can do is write her in.

Rudy Giuliani: The Knight and "The Queen"

According to The London Times, New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani gives kisses before he leaves every morning, but to neither his estranged wife, nor his girlfriend.
Instead, says The Times, Sir Rudy gives a peck on the cheek to the two homosexual men hes living with. "We always get a little kiss, its cute, says wealthy car dealer Howard Koeppel, with whom Giuliani has been sharing an apartment since June.
When Giuliani was recently knighted, Koeppel tells The Times that he told Sir Rudy to call him Queen Howard. Koeppel (63) and his homosexual lover Mark Hsiao (41) have been comforting Giuliani, and trying to make him laugh, in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.
On the way to a recent fundraising dinner for the pro-homosexual state lobby group, The Empire State Pride Agenda (ESPA), Koeppel ribbed Giuliani by saying that if the ESPA was able to raise $100,000 donation for the homosexual victims of the September 11 attacks, Giuliani should agree to appear on Showtimes controversial Queer as Folk dressed in drag. Surprisingly, Giuliani agreed.
Marty Algaze of Gay Mens Health Crisis once summed up Queer as Folk a show that touts graphic sexual activity as one of its biggest draws as one that would shock a lot of people. Showtimes Queer as Folk was inspired by the original series in Britain, which featured a storyline in which a 29-year-old man has a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
The propensity to shock people is not new to Giuliani, who likes to dress in womens clothes as a stage act, and even did so once at a Pride Agenda fund-raiser.
According to the Times, Giuliani has attended every gay pride parade in New York during his eight years as mayor. In 1992, during his first run for mayor, Giuliani took part in a homosexual pride parade that included a contingent of pedophile activists marching behind a banner for NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association).
Then-Mayor Giuliani with Howard Koeppel, the gay
man he moved in with after his marriage broke up.
LOL
AMEN!!!!
It’s time for them to disappear and let the new real Americans come in.
Forget the AINO. (Americans In Name Only)
They only what to communize America.
Go Sarah...our only hope for the future of our country.
He didn’t do so well in the last primary...Now, he’s the leader???
Sarah in the WH. Her biggest challenge IMO: getting what needs to be done AFTER she's in the WH. Priorities in order of importance IMO (not necessarily in chronological order of completion, but as close a possible):
1) Overturn deadly Roe v. Wade/make killing unborn babies a crime (strategies: get the right Justices into SCOTUS; encourage states to nullify Roe v. Wade by state law).
2) Repeal deadly ObamaCare.
3) Cut deadly government spending as radically as it was increased by the pathological "stimulus."
4) Cut deadly taxes, then see about a flat sales tax, sending the IRS where the sun don't shine.
5) Cut more unconstitutional federal government and push for states to be more independent, stop looking for federal handouts and constitutionally decentralize lawmaking.
...And take it from there...
Hard to believe Giuliani is ‘thinking’ about running again, I still remember when he pulled out of the Hillary Senate race in 2000 which eventually led to her being Secretary of State, but he wants to be the R nominee??? Or likely just get in the news.
