Great minds, etc.

The Iowa caucus is itself just a pro-ethanol ploy—if they can get every candidate on the record as favoring it early enough, the subsidy is golden for four more years.

Most canidates for prez don’t carping about the ills of “corporate welfare” until Iowa has been decided.

Mind-numbed Robot in #10 is totally correct !!!

did the pro-Christie people read the news snippets? Liberal media is praising him as the ultimate conservative, while mentioning that he isn’t a conservative on ANY issue except -maybe- the budget.

yes, he does have the alpha male appeal. THAT is why many liked Trump. we want someone who will FIGHT for us. but there are plenty of true conservatives who will not compromise.

there is no need to beg Christie, to be our new McCain.

if we were going to beg anyone to run, who is not, it should be Colonel West !!! he is to the right of Christie on EVERY issue.

...and does anyone what to claim he’s less of an alpha male?

Amen! Allen is no shrinking violet either. We have a treasure trove of talent but, as usual, some conservatives keep looking for the mythical perfect candidate and threaten to start a third party or stay at home unless one candidate meets all their needs. I think they are trolls.

However, I think Col West has said he has an obligation to finish his House term first. That eliminates him this time around.

Our biggest enemy, even more so than the media and the labor unions, is election fraud. In addition to ACORN and related groups most states have not purged their polls of dead, illegals, felons and other unqualified voters from the rolls. Mysteriously they keep voting. Also Soros has said he has put together a plan to assure the election of "Progressive" Secretaries of State in key battle ground states. They control and certify the elections. That means they can certify fraudulent elections even before recounts and investigations, assuring a win by someone who didn't.

1) absolutely correct about Allen. and he is a man of integrity. i simply said if IF we were going to beg someone, it should be a TRUE conservative. as much as i enjoyed Christie’s scolding videos, he is simply not.

2) WOW WOW WOW. you summed up my beliefs about voting fraud perfectly! i think this should be a dynamite front page issue 24/7. if letting every persons vote count is so bloody important to the NY Times, then preventing fraud is JUST as important. since a fraudulent vote cancels a legitimate vote by a US citizen !!!
...but you said it all so perfectly, i actually saved your comment, since i can’t summarize it as well as you did in 23.

Spread the word far and wide. It seems you and I are the only ones doing it.

Christie can be courted, but he should not run. He has, how shall I say it, a number of skeletons in his closet.

While I enjoy his act as much as anyone, he is not ready for prime time. And he is smart enough to know this. Moreover, he doesn’t have the background.

His family cannot withstand the colonoscopy that the Palin family has already endured, since the Christie bunch has some “issues.”

Due diligence and research is your friend.

It’s no accident that he is saying NO on a constant basis.

-———a number of skeletons in his closet-——

But you see, many conservatives don’t really want a candidate. They want someone to attack and in so doing parade their sanctimony and self righteousness. Enhancing their self esteem is the reason for being

I’m with you, kiddo.

Palin or Cain.

In that exact order.
