Thanks for that understanding. Even FEMA when they got here said they did not need help.

Help is overwhelming, so many people at work are trying to help being turned away because there is already too much.

“I’m from the government and I’m here to help”.

I wonder if FEMA is doing their job and directing some of that offered help to other areas and towns also hit that may need help. Coordination is supposed to be what they do.

First the worst tornado in decades, then one week later, the Barry and Jay Show, accompanied by the Westboro Baptist Church choir.

I’m sure you and the good folks in Joplin will take it all in stride, though. Today’s visitors can’t blow a bunch of hot air any harder than the twister did.
