Justice for Don Berkebile, Retired Smithsonian Curator Homicide Unresolved
Justice for Don ^

My last post here about Don was Sept 2009. Justice for Don (Berkebile), Retired Smithsonian Curator Homicide. At that point we still had hope that those responsible would be held accountable for our cousin's death. It didn't happen. Don's estate has been finally settled after having to defend itself against the man who killed him. A counter suit was filed and both suits were eventually dropped without this man benefiting financially. Thankfully that was a good thing.

But no criminal charges were ever brought against this man and due to 'fill in the blank' the authorities appear to consider the case closed.

I have a humble request of FR members for help. Please visit the website; we have documented all that we can at this point. Justice For Don It is important for us to know what happened that day and why there was so little evidence that no charges (nothing) were filed against Bryan Kendall; considering the extent of the brutal injuries Don suffered.

ANY information will help us bring closure to this horrible tragedy. So far there has been NO Justice for Don. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this and possibly look closer at this case.

Gratefully Jenny217

Hello Jenny - I am so sorry your family has been through this.

You said that this character is getting away with murder and will not face justice. You are wrong about that. He’s going to face justice for what he did after he dies and it will not be pretty.

I am glad you kept the estate away from him. You have done the best you can for Don.

I’m so sorry for your loss and what you’ve had to go through. I hope you reach the point where you no longer think about the circumstances of his passing but only celebrate the life of this incredible man. What he accomplished in his one life! He is to be emulated.

Perhaps it might help to review these two passages from the Bible and seek in your heart to forgive this murderer.

Matthew 10:26: . . . there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Romans 12:19: . . . Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Well, SunkenCiv, the only moral I take from this story is use a Magnum44 rather than a pistol with birdshot, and don’t approach the POS who attacked you on your property - call 911.
