A corollary to Godwin’s Law, according to me and me alone: If a talking-head RINO is truly terrified that a real anti- eastablishment conservative might actually win the Republican nomination, he or she will first… wet themselves, then immediately proffer the theory that so and so cannot possibly be trusted with a single thermonuclear device, let alone the vast arsenal our Armed Forces have at their disposal… OK, it needs a digest version, but you get the drift.

Besides disagreeing in generally about Will’s conclusions,I must also disagree with him about threshold questions about fingers on nuclear buttons.
Most people alive today do not remember the Cuban missle crisis. It is something we read in history books. The Spaniards voted in socialist not because they would keep NATO from lobbing nukes, but in part because they decided that withdrawal from engagement with terrorist-related factions on the battlefield might keep their trains from being blown up. Urban liberals think this way, too. Younger urban conservatives are willing to deter would be terrorists by direct action against the terrorists.
The red button talk is more of an afterthought for the vast majority.

Eon's ago we had a thread about Palin's Security Clearance given Alaska like Hawaii has a 24/7 Guard and the Governor has to be in the loop of all the latest and greatest toys they have to protect us, and maybe even make decisions.
I got a lot of feedback, ya or nay if she did, but the question begs, did she have a Higher Clearance than McCain, Obama or Biden? If so why not trust her with the football?

Will never served in the military. Obama never served, registered, and deeply hates America. The Obama loving Bush daughters never served, neither did the Gore kids, Neither did Chelsea Clinton. Have any of Mitt’s boys served? Or are they doing like daddy did in Vietnam, getting deferrments as a missionary in France?

6. Recite the Boy Scout Pledge. (Or at least come close)
7. Successfully use a can opener.
8. Make pancakes.
9. Describe the universe.
10. Change a diaper.
7 out of 10 is passing the THRESHOLD.
