It’s meaningless until they all march into the UN and try to impose Statehood and those borders.
There are something like 80 countries who supposedly have done what Spain is now on board to do.
spain and the like-minded are evil.
Stand with Israel or bow to Islam.
Seems Spain has chosen.
Am I missing something? Palestine did not exist in 1967, did it? I thought the West Bank was part of Jordan, and the Gaza was part of Egypt. Israel comprised the rest.
Sadly a surprising number of FReepers have chosen to stand with Spain and the others.
Spain can do what ever the heck they want...it’s Bibi’s call.
Maybe its time to support the Basgue separatists.
Isn’t Spain about to go belly-up? They must feel the need to suck-up to the checkbook holders in Europe.
Maybe Spain would be happy with the lines the way they were during the Spanish Inquisition.
Standing *against* Israel?
Holding my breath waiting for them to recognize a Basque state.
Well that’s creepy. I’m guessing the two goth girls are Zapatero’s daughters?
Well in that case Spain needs to reinstate Generalissimo Francisco Franco who was head of state in Spain in 1967, and is still dead.
Who are those goth wierdos in the photo with kenyan and Wookie?
That’s Bull Sh/t.
Wait until I come across those posters.
Ron Paul supporters?
Israel should declare that all capital inflows from Spain into Israel will be tax free for 25 years and that any Spanish citizen may have a bank account in Israel and that the activities in those accounts will never be reported to the Spanish government.
Isn’t there a line in the Bible that says .....
The whole world will be against Israel
yea Spain, you’re having such great success with the muslimes ......
What a freak show!
Do they want the whole package? A contiguous pallee-stinian state? An Israel whose only border is with pallee-stein? Israel North and Israel South?
From the “speech”:
“with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine”
“Palestinian ... in a sovereign and contiguous state. “
Is that the Osbornes?
Probably the best photo of all time.
“The Addams Fam-ah-lee” (snap, snap)
Given their history, this is very, very sad and self-destructive.
I am willing to recognize the borders of Spain of 1084, the year before the fall of Toledo.
....bar scene from “Star Wars”?....
If we agree to call a dog’s tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have?
Four. Call it whatever you want, pass all the laws you want, issue all the UN declarations to want, its still a tail, and a dog still has only four legs.
The two state solution was instituted the day Israel was born; Jordan for the arab palestinians, and Israel for the jewish palestinians. The third state sandwiched between them, with no economy, no sources of employment, no industry, that lives by whatever it can shake down by threatening terrorism, is not a viable state and will never be one.
Spain chose the dark side the day they elected Zapatero. We did the same when we elected Obama. We’ve still got a chance to set it right, and we’d better get it rightt his time or bad things will happen.
War is coming, whatever we do. I don’t think we have a choice of preventing war. Our only choice is whether or not we are on the right side of it.
Dig him up and jumpstart him.
Dig him up and jumpstart him.
***I am willing to recognize the borders of Spain of 1084, the year before the fall of Toledo.***
Took the words right out of my mouth! But then I would have to change my name from Ruy to Yusuf Ben Texum.
Great minds think alike! I wish I knew where I lost mine!
Spain must be running back to the Moslems for some weird reason after 600 years.
Once a upon time ago, Spain had a real leader.
They look like they are already pre-burkaed in that photo. All they’re missing is the black hood with eye slits.
Guess those Madrid train bombing worked.
Under Aznar, Unemployment fell by 19%, a zero level of deficit was achieved, and inflation fell below 2%. GDP grew, taxes were reduced, and public services improved. State-owned companies were privatised: Iberia Airlines, BBVA, Telefónica, Repsol, Aceralia. Public spending was decreased and uptake of private healthcare increased.
heh, the two men are the only normal looking ones in that pic. Ironic since they are probably the most twisted, loony freaks in the pic.
Is GW wearing one of those angle beepers parolees wear?
Quite. They seem to really like black clothes.
The socialists were utterly demolished in the local elections last week. Looks like the Popular Party may win next year.
I’m Goth, and I wouldn’t dress like that for a state affair. No class.
some weird looking folks in that picture...
“Israel should declare that all capital inflows from Spain into Israel will be tax free for 25 years....”
Unfortunately, while this article is about Spain, it could just as well have been about many other countries. All this would do is instigate deeper economical reasons to put embargos on Israel, which would play into Europe’s old canards against Jews.
I’m probably taking your suggestion more seriously than you intended it, but I do think Israel needs to fight back in clever ways like that.
Franco dies. The commie cockroaches crawl out of the sewers.
