~The FReeper Canteen Presents~ Road Trip: Creech Air Force Base, Nevada
Creech Air Force Base, formerly known as Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field, is a United States Air Force base located one mile north of the central business district of Indian Springs, in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is about 35 miles northwest of Las Vegas and 45 miles northwest of Nellis Air Force Base. It is named in honor of General Wilbur L. Bill Creech, known as the "Father of the Thunderbirds".
The host unit is the 432d Wing, which has six operational squadrons, one maintenance squadron, and MQ-9 Reapers and MQ-1 Predators.
Along with being the aerial demonstration training site for the Thunderbirds, the base plays a major role in the ongoing War on Terror. The base is home to the MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle which is used regularly in Afghanistan and Iraq. The base is also home to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Battlelab.
     Creech Air Force Base, Nev., is the home to the "Hunters" of the 432d Wing and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing, and the Joint Unmanned Aircraft System Center of Excellence. The base also hosts the operations of the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron, 99th Ground Combat Training Squadron, and 98th Southern Ranges Support Squadron.
The shifting of a global remotely piloted aviation mission to Creech AFB to include aircrew training, and the supporting, directing, and coordination of combat sorties halfway across the world has continued to the present. On November 9, 2006, the Air Force activated the 42d Attack Squadron at Creech to operate the next stage in remotely piloted aircraft development, the MQ-9 Reaper.
The service also provided for direct leadership of these missions on May 1, 2007, with the activation of the 432d Wing at Creech. Finally, the full spectrum of these operations was formally recognized when the 432d Air Expeditionary Wing was activated at Creech on May 15, 2008.
The 432d Wing, 432d Air Expeditionary Wing "Hunters" consists of combat-ready Airmen who fly remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) in direct support to the joint forces warfighter. The RPA systems provide real-time reconnaissance, surveillance, and precision attack against fixed and time-critical targets. The Hunters conduct RPA initial qualification training for aircrew, intelligence, weather, and maintenance personnel.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Bad Choice
May 31, 2011
An elderly TV star was asked by talk-show host Larry King about heaven. King prefaced his question by referring to Billy Graham, who had told King he knew what would be ahead. It would be paradise. He was going to heaven.
King then asked his guest, What do you believe? He replied, Id like a lot of activity. Heaven sounds too placid for me. Theres a lot to do in hell.
Sadly, this man is not alone in thinking that an existence in Satans realm is a preferred destination. Ive heard people say that theyd rather be in hell because all their friends will be there. One person wrote, If hell was real, I dont think it would be bad. There would be a lot of interesting people.
How can we convince folks who are deceived in this way that hell and its horrors are to be avoided? Perhaps by telling them of the realities of hell that are presented in the Scripture. In Daniel 12:2, it is described as a place of shame and everlasting contempt. Luke 16:23 talks about torments. Matthew 8:12 describes weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Revelation 14:11 says there will be no rest.
Biblical truth doesnt allow anyone to think that hell might be a good place to be. Clearly, rejecting Jesus and facing an eternity in Satans kingdom is a bad choice.
Dont choose to spend eternity
Where pain will never dim;
Instead decide to trust in Christ
And choose to follow Him. Sper
The same Christ who talks about the glories of heaven also describes the horrors of hell.
Read: Revelation 20:11-15
Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Daniel 12:2
