There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.
Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
What about the fact that “invest heavily in infrastructure” is well known code for “invest heavily in infrastructure?”

The quote is from an interview with Rusty Humphries in 2009. I notice Sarah, in true politician fashion, only answered half of the question - her position on closing our southern borders.

In my eyes, I went to the Memorial Day Parade here in Los Angeles and saw our Mayor Tony Villaraigosa sitting in an old Chevy waiving at the crowd while stopped in front of a medical Marijuana store.
I saw not one, but two, groups of Mexicans astride their horses waiving a Mexican Flag. And I saw the Viallarta (spelling) markets entry to the parade. I didn’t see even one light colored ponytail in the local school marchers.
I saw very few American flags.

Actually, Palin puts on a strong offense in defending Israel.
When most politicians say “invest in infrastructure”, they really mean paying off their cronies. The infrastructure never seems to be improved.
When Sarah Palin says to invest in infrastructure, she really means FIX IT. She has a good sense of getting value for the dollar spent.

The sad part is, I do not see the majority of American citizens upset and resisting the invasion from the south.
