Video of Brimfield Mass tornado damage with commentary [Warning - Coarse language, but funny]

A great first person report of tornado damage in Brimfield Massachusetts by a guy at a towing/used car dealership. He's literally coming out to discover the destruction and filming and commenting as he goes. The language is coarse, but some of the comments are pretty funny.

It is clear that there was a strong tornado there, luckily they were not injured.

Didn’t hear one bit of news from yesterday.

Yes, 19 towns were hit including Springfield (3rd largest city in New England). Four confirmed dead. Two tornadoes but there are suspicions of as many as 10.

They all went south of me, west to east. It was crazy. This video really brings it home. Wow.

BTW I heard this guy on the news. He called in to one of the local tv stations.

That was about two miles from my house. The weather guy on FOX 25 News tracked the tornado on Doppler radar from Springfield, Mass staight at us for over half an hour. We were ready to hit the safe room in my basement when the thing dipped south a bit and wiped out this garage on Holland Road. The numbskull making the vid says "Brimfield Connecticutt," but he's actually in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Amazing. Must be a liberal. Conservatives aren't usually that stupid.

Without question the worst detruction in Massachusetts in my lifetime.

Sooo...Obama doesn’t visit the southern floods because they didn’t vote for him. Obama won’t visit the Mass floods because he already has their vote. TIME FOR GOLF!!

I’ve always wondered why when we see news clips of people after a tornado, there’s never any swearing.

Now I’ve got my answer. Those tornados were not in Massachusetts.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. Thanks for posting this. The 1953 tornado was bad. This guy was lucky

Yeah as I said on another thread, the farmhouse where my grandma grew up in Southborough was destroyed in the ‘53 tornado, and my great-aunt sucked out a window and thrown ~200 feet. She survived but had back problems for the rest of her life.

I’m a lot older than you - I grew up in Sturbridge, and vividly remember the 1953 tornado that ripped through Worcester. Ninety-four people killed, over 1,000 injured.

Didn’t realize Mass was subject to tornadoes, but then I don’t realize a lot of things until I do. Glad this one missed you.
