‘Walkerville’ camp at Capitol Square in the works to protest budget (here we go again)

With lawmakers gearing up for a vote on the state budget, a Walkerville camp similar to the one that sprang up during the protests at the state Capitol earlier this year may be returning this weekend this time to the terraces of Mifflin and Carroll streets.
We Are Wisconsin, an alliance of community groups, labor unions and others, has asked the city for a permit to set up the camp across from the Capitol to provide information about Gov. Scott Walkers budget proposals and efforts to recall Republican legislators who voted to eliminate bargaining rights for most public employees.

PING! The Capitol Square Farmers Market is going to be replaced by a bunch of stinky hippie protesters who will storm the capitol at the drop of a hat.

I sure hope the Capital police have brushed up on their policies and tactics. The last fiasco was disgusting.
These people should not be allowed in the capital building, and any non-compliance with the state police should merit some stiff penalties.
Call in the national guard if you have to. Make some arrests. File some serious charges. See them through.

They are all living off the government. Many are state and local government employees whose supervisors (who agree with them) look the other way. 50-60% of Dane County residents are living off the taxpayers or are students living off their parents.

Aim true because I’m only 10 miles south, LOL!
The tide really is turning. I hope they protest long and loudly again! The rest of the state is TOTALLY fed up with Madistan, the Unionistas, the Hippies, the state workers, the teachers, etc.
It truly is p*ssing off many hard-working citizens throughout the state...which bodes well for us in the upcoming recall elections, and I think had a lot to do with the Judge Prosser win on our Supreme Court. :)

In the last month I have been to both a funeral and a wedding where gratuitous leftist politics have been added to the ceremonies. I have never seen anything like it. The Dems in this town and the teachers all over the state seem to have lost their minds. Although, at the wedding, the mother of the groom was a teacher and the very first thing that they did after the ceremony was apologize to us for the little political barb that the “minister” added to the ceremony.

The government workers are in fact the millionaires. If a small business owner were to retire at 55 and receive $50,000.00 per year in retirement, not uncommon for teachers, at the bank interest rates at the moment, if he lived to be 75 he would have to have a million dollars put away, not counting the health benefits that the unions also receive. If that same teacher lived to 85, it would be a million and a half. These government workers are the true untaxed millionaires.

Walker’s mistake was in not sending in the police with tear gas and billy clubs back when all this started. If the union thug cops disobeyed his orders, he should have fired them and brought in private security to do it.

“...for the little political barb that the minister added to the ceremony.”
That’s just insane. But, not unexpected in these parts.
I think Dane County is going to get the kick in the teeth it SO deserves. Taxpayers are leaving in droves, and it pains me to say it, but our new, old Mayor Soglin is looking like he’ll kick some liberal @ss in this town, LOL!
Just think - Mayor Dave is GONE. Kathleen *SPIT* Falk is GONE! We have a Governor that’s NOT going to take cr@p from Dane or Milwaukee counties.
We’re at a tipping point, I’m thinking. :) Of course, the LibTards won’t take this lying down, but still...’tis SWEET! :)

It is unbelievable that Mayor Soglin would appear to be a voice of relative sanity....it actually is a pretty sorry state.
That being said, some of the more civil leftists in this state have lost that civility recently. I can't explain in detail a lot more, but they seem to be scared, as in really scared of some presence that hasn't been in this state before.
You were right about the barb not being unexpected, we were a bit surprised at the apology because we are used to being in places where conservatives are bashed with abandon.
What has surprised me lately is the number of people who have come up to someone I know rather well and say in a whisper so as to not be heard by anyone else around “Keep up the good work” because this person is well known for making a very public stand for our side. Sometimes these people are strangers and sometimes they are people known a long time, but not known as conservatives.
We are living in interesting times.
