NEW YORK (The Blaze/AP) — The executive editor of The New York Times is stepping down after eight years on the job.

The Times announced Thursday that Bill Keller is leaving the post to return to writing. He will be replaced by Jill Abramson, formerly one of his top deputies.

Times Publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. says in a statement that Keller asked for the change a few weeks ago. Keller plans to write for The New York Times Magazine and the paper’s Sunday opinion and news section.

That’s 8 years of constant lies and propaganda on behalf of his boss, the kenyan. He can now move on with pride knowing full well he did his part in destroying a great country!

I find it fascinating that the former CEO of a Big Oil company (Chevron) could raise a son to become the editor of the biggest attacker of Big Oil, conservatives, Republicans, and all things American.

Pinch Sulzberger is the perfect example of an incompetent ne’er do well from inherited money who rather than running his parent’s company into the ground if he did not come from wealth would be sleeping on a grate. The other perfect example is the late Ted Kennedy who would be sharing that grate.

I agree. What is this? However, I think only people who live in New York get this paper. Right now my paper is The Virginian Pilot and most people would probably ask “What is this “The Virginian Pilot” of which thou speak” if there was an article about the editor leaving. I find it funny that we even have this posted. I HOPE we don’t start talking about all newspapers when an editor leaves. I am sure that it is a regular thing to lose an editor here and there.

I think Red’s reference was a somewhat sarcastic way of referring to the shrinking influence and circulation of the NYT, which may have contributed to the editors retiring.

He will be replaced by Jill Abramson....

From wikipedia:

"According to a source Abramson is Jewish, although she has been quoted as saying her religion was The New York Times."

How unsurprising.

Well informed sources inform that after a long internal
investigation the NYT board of die-rectors determined that
Mr Keller had displayed a bias (slightly to the left of
center) not proper for such balanced and fair historical
institution as the New York Times.

Since this is about New York, it will be featured on Fox News, which they believe to be the city that rules over the nations.

New York traffic jams are news on Fox News.

One lefty for another.

Exactly.
The motto at the NY Times for the past couple of decades has been, "Straight white males need not apply." I wonder if Keller was starting to get lonely? In any event, with scumbag lefties like Pinch it's always about the money. Maybe Pinch is hoping the announcement will cause a brief, kneejerk bump in the stock price so he can dump some.
