Desperate to stay out of jail, bad boy politician JOHN EDWARDS begged his mistress and mother of his love child Rielle Hunter to cover up for him, but she flatly refused, sources say.
In a bombshell exclusive hitting newsstands, The ENQUIRER reports a stunning new development in the ongoing Edwards saga, which has resulted in Rielle dumping him in his darkest hour.

Gee, why are all these bad things happening to such a great guy, who smiled into the camera in the sex films he made with some chick while on the campaign trail Running For President all while his loving wife was home with his kids, and Fighting Terminal Cancer. And then he gets the mistress pregnant and she has his love child that he has to get caught sneaking around to see... Oh, and he used campaign funds to pay for said mistress and baby...
