Those theories are similar to the ideas put forward by Puthoff and Sakharov, that gravity is the observable effect of the quantum background pushing matter around.

And they fit in well with my equations from back when I tinkered with it, and the Expansive Non-decelerative Universe papers published by Sima, Sukenik.

Thing is, if somebody accepts those ideas and dumps old Al, you come to understand why gravity is a local phenomena, and at the same time the need for dark matter and dark energy to explain things just falls away. Thermodynamic pressure of the quantum field explains everything.
