Among the witnesses taking the stand were a former girlfriend and also a common law wife each testifying to past abuse by William Lafffoon.
A jury of 6 men and 6 women heard unthinkable acts of rape and abuse involving a lit cigarette, a broom, and a knife. But it was the case of Laffoon's wife that put the trial in motion.
" When I read this latest case. 4;18 It was scary how similar it was to the case I worked with the same guy in 2005," says Bob Haley, Wagoner Police Chief, who worked for the Wagoner County Sheriff's office at the time.
Laffoon had gone to prison but was out and Haley said accused of more crimes. "I just felt like if we didn't do something if it wasn't this particular victim it was going to be another victim and possibly another victim and I really believe it would end up with somebody dying, I really did."

Should have changed his name to Mohammed, grown a beard, carried a Koran, claimed cultural immunity and cried out for Sharia Law.
He’d be out on the street right now.
I guess no conjugal visits from the wife for this guy.
Story doesn’t say how long this went on.
Why do women stay with men that do these things?
Why do men want to do these things?

I can’t help but think their stories are exaggerated.
Real men do not do such things.
Read some court documents or police reports, look at pictures or talk to the ER docs..no exaggeration needed.
this guy had already done prison time for assault...
Guy needs to be off the street!
Name three things Anthony Weiner blamed for leaking his trouser mug shot on his twitter account.
Except they had photographs of some of the abuse. Some people just need killing.
or maybe the women were into it
I don’t think they were hobby pics, but pics taken by medical personnel for documentation purposes.
