One thing is for sure. If a pressie gets their chance to ask Gov Palin a question they better not blow it. Like
"Who's paying for this".
End of the line for you, idiot...
I disagree. Pretending to be an academic bore with an oh-so-solemn approach to every issue will lose her entire constituency and gain her nothing. One can be extremely serious about right and wrong, and about policies that have been shown to work vs. those known to fail, again and again, without a serious "image."
The Democrats want us to run a bore who will play the "government must be the solution" game with their candidate.
Scott Conroy and Peter Hamby are two of the reporters that she’s given the most access—and she’s clearly charmed and impressed them both. But, yes, he did the lazy inaccurate calling her out on her history, when she was correct.
Some nice, polite tweets to him asking if he could get a correction out on that could be in order. The story is the media once again ganging up on her—with misinformation.
Leave it to you to make the keen observation!
You nailed it!
She owns and rides a bike. Believe me, the brotherhood and sisterhood of bikers is strong.
She and her husband own a fishing business. She can go into a New Hampshire fishing town and speak authoritatively about the industry.
Special needs children, rank and file union membership, public school teachers challenges (per parents), energy policy, ethics in government and on and on.
Like her or not. Agree with her or not, one thing that is not arguable is she connects with Middle America like no other Republican candidate since "you know who".
Exactly. bttt
You hear what you chose to hear and will never see that which you refuse to see.
What do you mean as a “serious image”? Walking around in a dress going to a academic institution to make a speech? Who cares what CNN says about her, they would say it anyway no matter what she did or wherever she goes.
Poor you.
I agree. That's why I said that attempting to present an "image" that is not really her is a losing strategy. People who are paying attention can tell whether what she says is well-thought-out and realistic, even if she says it with a smile and a wink.
She’s running, and these informal press opportunities are the only way she can talk to the press right now beyond her Fox contract. Not pre-announcing her schedule was a brilliant way of keeping the media and the unions from being able to make protesters the story.
Just what ounce of that do you think is inaccurate?
Read up on history which doesn’t include wikipedia and you will find out that she was correct or just look here on FR in the past 24 hours
Lord I hated tax season. Bless you
Aye, you've nailed it: you are wrong!!
Be Ever Vigilant!!
I’m retired from the tax field and a full-time Domestic Goddess now.
he media is so eager to highlight anything they can that is negative about her that the often jump the gun without checking the facts themselves in their zeal to smear her.
Sarah Palin is the Tea Party. Perhaps someday you and the rest of the intellegencia will get off your high horses and understand that. By serious image you mean like obama, Reid and Pelosi who are seriously drowning us in debt?
Here is a virtual dollar so you can go buy a virtual clue.
Pray for America
