Am I the only one thinking this? Hillary?
6-5-11 | Self

Posted on 06/05/2011 1:10:31 PM PDT by CincyRichieRich

I may be a little way out there, but I've seen Rush predict crazier things and they came true. Here is my crazy scenario, and please, comment on it...let me hear what you think.

Romney continues cris-crossing the US. Palin continues the tour, and declares on July 4th or a day before or a day after so as to not send conflicting messages. Obama's ratings keep dropping with the USD, commodities rise more, golf rounds continue...and Boehner continues his stupidity like volunteering to play golf with the pretender in chief.

About the end of August, our RNC still hasn't come to its senses and it is clear RNC won't pick Palin, and, her statements to the press make it increasingly clear she'll be a third part.

Then, it becomes clear Hillary wants the reigns and quits, and, declares a third party candidacy as an alternative to One.

I predict we'll end up with 4 parties, 4 candidates. Crazy?

it is clear RNC won't pick Palin

It isn't the RNC's job. It is Palin's job to first choose to run, our job to support her, her job to run a good campaign, and the primary voter's job to elect her. The RNC is just a tool.

Other than that, I think you are on the right track but I bet it will be three major parties (and of course your ankle biters like the Greens). I predict that Trump and possibly Hillary will team up on the "No Labels" party. Remember, this isn't Trump's first time to run for President.

Well, you shouldn't be.

Hillary is as much of a Marxist as Bambi, and while she's not Muslim-born as he is, she has done everything within her power to support Islam and undercut Israel. She had the chance to prove herself as SOS, and she didn't. She had no policy and was totally subservient to The Won.

Hillary obviously licks Bambi's toes every night before she goes to sleep...or she's afraid of him. She is the most invisible SOS we have ever had.

There's no reason any conservative, Christian or non-Christian, should vote for Hillary. In fact, there's no reason anybody should vote for her.

I think it is more likely if the current negatives with the economy go own (double dip with a vengeance coming) and the Mideast spinning into to turmoil that Biden will have a ‘medical emergency’ and resign from office and Hillary will be offered and take the VP/ This would create an iron clad team to assure core Democrat loyalty and draw women who wouldn't normally vote or who even lean to the GOP in’12 because of the factors described above.

Another possibility:

Biden “develops” a health problem and must resign (forced out). Replaced by Hillary. B.O. finally forced to face eligibility issues as election looms. He resigns. Hillary takes over before the election and becomes the Dem candidate.

Correct you are, my FRiend.

In fact I've predicted many times here on FR that Biden will come down with a totally faked "illness" (presumably related to his actual aneurysm med history) and Hillary will get the VP nod.

They have already telegraphed this, IMHO, when Hillary stated that she will quit politics. (Thus quelling her prez nomination supporters).

Dems always prefer the sneaky, deceitful route, so seems to be a likely scenario to moi.

Comment on. I'm serious.

Ok, my comment is that Hillary can't do it without the Democratic Party, particularly those HC Dems who were really pi$$ed that BHO edged her out.

She MUST resign from SOS, make a break on foreign policy with BHO, particularly over out support of Israel. That will draw support from common sense Democrats. Contrary to what some FReepers say, Bill and Hill have always supported Israel.

With a failed foreign policy AND the economy still tanking (probabilities), the nomination is Hillary's to take. Then we will (ok, maybe) see the grand match up of the two super-women of our age. Can you guess?

The tool that chose Mc Cain and Dole....we have a big fight on our hands and as far as I've seen, the rules haven't been changed.

New Hampshire picked Mc Cain due to cross overs last time in spite of the other primary States, until that is addressed get ready for Mitt.

Yes if the economy melts down the way there seems a good chance it will . Especially if really explosive events with the dollar occur in’12. Biden, I doubt, would even very much want to ride the storm out. If conditions really deteriorate I believe he would be delighted to be offered a graceful exit.

If Hillary ever gets VP, Obama will be sweating. I think even Obama is smart enough to keep Hillary out of that slot.

I think Hillary should make a run this time but a 3rd party won’t cut it. If Palin does make a 3rd party run, she’ll suddenly become the Smartest Woman in the World.

Maybe, but the fact of the matter is Mitt will be the chosen nominee.

The GOP in their infinite wisdom has not even addressed the issue of open primaries.

You think we get a choice....like we did with Mc Cain?

If we do not address this now we're in deep doo-doo.

It happened in 1860 and that didn’t work out so well. I think that Obama will be pushed out some way before the election. Seeing the death of the Democratic Party with him at the head, the Dems figure a way to dispose of him. Biden will be President—he will select Hillary as his VP—then he will step aside for “health reasons.” Hill will select Kerry as her VP—to face Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney in the election. Hill will win in a very close race. Hillary will take apart much of Obama’s agenda or change it dramatically. Tea Party will die as the nation goes Middle of the Road. My Predictions.

Not too likely. I think that Palin will come out of the closet in the near future and dump “Todd” for Clinton. However, Clinton will lead Palin on, then publicly humiliate her by taking up with “The First Lady.” Newt will leave his current wife and enter into a marriage with Nancy Pelosi after overcoming a bitter “love rival” Reverend Wright who leveled a charge of “Racism!”.

I'm with Perdogg - you're over thinking this. I think the country faces a crisis almost as severe as 1860 and thus think there might be a historical analogy for the 4 party idea, but the probability of it going down like you speculate has to be less than 1%. Fun to contemplate, though.

Doubtful to me. She has never stopped running for president, but I suspect the Democrat party, as radically far left as it is, suits her pretty well.

As for a third party on the right, it’s just a matter of time, what with all the radio talk experts exhorting us to get behind Romney, the one who lost to the big loser in 2008. Rewarding mediocrity now makes just as much sense as it did for the GOP in 2008. It’s the quickest route to four more years of you know who.

Comment on. I'm serious.

O.K. I think your 2012 election scenario is just as crazy as you said it was. A third and fourth political party? No way! But since we're speculating, I think Palin will run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination and win. If she lost she would throw her support to another candidate that came closest to her conservative views. No third party run, which she knows would split the Republican vote and help elect Obama, much as Ross Perot helped elect Bill Clinton in '92. Hillary Clinton is a solid Democrat leftist and seems to be comfortable in the Marxist administration. Whatever she may think of Obama, I can't see her jumping the Democrat ship to go 'independent'. VP...perhaps...but no 'third party' run for Hillary.

How do I know these things, you might ask. Well, I don't. I'm simply speculating based on what I do know about Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. Hillary Clinton will turn 65 next year - and she looks it. I don't nee Hillary running another exhaustive campaign. Sarah Palin will only be 48 next year. That's young for a politician. If she didn't run for president (or the GOP nomination) she could run for senator or serve in a prospective Republican administration in a responsible, visible position (possibly a Cabinet post). By 2016 or 2020, she would only be 52 or 56, an age when many presidents have been elected. Not too young to be considered inexperienced but not too old to be seen as 'tired'. In short; Palin has options that Hillary doesn't. No 'independent' presidential run for either is likely. However, like you, I could be wrong.
