Not long ago there was an article that opened with the following:
“The top U.S. diplomat for the Middle East says President Barack Obama has invited the Libyan rebels’ National Transitional Council to open an office in Washington D.C., but he stopped short of formal recognition.”
I wish, WISH Obama had formally recognized the Rebels. “Stopped short” is correct, but BARELY. He all but promised Gaddaffi would be out and they would be in.

(My common ground with terrorists - they want to die for islam and we want to kill them)
Only McCain has met with the leaders of the torturers, on the ground in Libya, within 2 miles of some of the confirmed torture sites, while traveling with only light security.
DO not forget this.
He should invite them to the Rose Garden for a Tea Summit.
